excellent very attentive service

I had called late afternoon with a passport renewal from overseas bureaucracy issue. I spoke to Emma Northcott who listened patiently, was very attentive and understood the issues very quickly. She gave very helpful and reassuring initial advice both on the telephone and by email. I had found DavidsonMorris by Google search (2nd page) and after having tried other law firms listed who either did not answer or were nowhere near as patient or helpful

Anne has a fantastic team. I thought I could do it myself. But I'm so glad we assigned DM as our solicitors. I'm part of an entrepreneurial team (very tricky route) and we applied on March 30, 2019 (this route was closed for applications on March 31, 2019!!). We were probably one of the last batches and couldn't have done it without DM and their advice. They've been taking care of us since 2019 and we shall continue our journey through 2024! ...2025 if we're lucky enough to naturalise!!

Not impressed with services for Immigration

All this is bearing in mind the current restrictions with COVID. A few issues in my own personnel experience for services of applying for my wifes UK Spouse Visa. 2021 After receiving an email reply on how to proceed with meeting with a solicitor specializing in visa/immigration, we made the payment of £240 for a phone call meeting. First of all the payment was missed and had to follow up two days in a row. Wasn't till two phone calls and a poignant email was sent did we get somewhere. Once they realized we had made the payment and selected our appointment time. Which was then 30 minutes late, (she did apologize). The most frustrating of all was the fact we had paid this amount where the solicitor we spoke to seemed to have very little knowledge of our circumstances. Everyone's circumstances are different I am aware. We learned one thing from this expensive, short meeting, which I strongly feel was genuinely not worth it. Now bear in mind this was only a 30 minute phone call which I feel deeply angered by at the whole thing from start to finish. Where on earth can you get away with charging the public that rate for someone who does not know what they are fully talking about and I am trying to apply for my wifes visa which is of a serious nature. I want to be assured by a solicitor this is the way and that is the way. Not hesitant or unsure. I am sorry but this was a wake up for us. We continued on from here without any further services and will not in future either. Thank you for the prompt reply. Interesting that within 17 hours of my review and you have researched the meeting with my wife, from over 4 weeks ago and have replied. If only the same amount of effort was put into a little research prior to my wifes meeting. Really felt there was a lack of knowledge on the subject. The information given was all found online and was not up to date with some aspects. When I am dealing with a Solicitor at your rates I expect to be fully satisfied with the services rendered leaving the call with far more clarity on the issues brought forward. Which on this particular occasion I most regrettably did not. The only reason the call was pleasant as your employee describes, I am just simply giving an honest review. Lastly I did not take this further at that time due to the fact I simply had enough other concerns at hand having moved back to the UK. If I was to dispute the meeting I was undoubtingly in for a another ride. I will take my losses instead and wrote this review. I have no issues paying for services at all. But as they say you get what you pay for, well I feel not in this case. Thank you and have a good day

Very good redundancy settlement advice

Engaged Paida Dube from DavidsonMorris to advise on a settlement agreement and received very good service, although I should qualify that statement by saying I don't have any previous experience to compare to. Communication was very good, including during Paida's time off, and the process was concluded without difficulty.
