Booked an eye test online, albeit a couple week's earlier than due. Day before get a call to say I have to wait 2 years, too early unless vision changed, which it had. Sorted that out and ordered contact lens AND nearly £400 of glasses. Went to pay and told have to buy 3 months lens in advance. There is no reason for this other than money grabbing, so declined all and took my business elsewhere which is a shame as cannot fault staff

I have a bit of a phobia of eye tests. Today I had a great experience at Duncan and Todd’s Aberdeen Belmont street branch. I think the optician I saw was called Eilidh. She was so kind and efficient and has given me the clearest pair of lenses I have ever had. Thank you so much.

Great service from booking to appointment. Easy to book appointment online, received a confirmation email, got a reminder email and a courtesy phone call a few days before to confirm and answer any questions. Welcomed when I arrived, seen straight away, thorough eye exam from a professional and knowledgeable optician. This is the second time I have had my eyes tested here and this is where I will continue to go. Very pleased with the service from all aspects!

Thank you to Keith Riddoch for being so professional and diligent while delivering an eye test on 30/7/2024. He detected something while looking at one of my eyes and squeezed me in the next day to follow up on this. I am very grateful for the excellent service. Efficient and polite service, highly recommended

After a brief few minutes in the waiting area, I had my eye test. It was quick, efficient, informative and the staff were courteous and polite. Some minor eye abnormalities were investigated throughly Excellent service and very happy with how it went
