We bought both of these books for our niece; one for Christmas & the other for her birthday (which is today!) They've been a huge hit! In fact, we want to know if there'll be any more in the near future?!

There’s no deer around here - A beautiful story! A heartwarming read of a grandma and grandson. They are convinced something has been in the garden, and so we watch them solve clues as to who or what it can be. My daughter loves shouting out “there’s no deer around here”! We’ve read this many times and it’s a firm fave in our house!

My kids and I love these first two books from Muddy Little Boots. The stories are great fun and the illustrations are beautiful. There are repeating phrases in both books that my kids love to join in with. And I love the outdoor nature of the books- a great way to encourage children to get out and explore the things around them. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful books, such a lovely message in the story too. We love reading them when out on adventures or just before bed. Stunning illustrations too. Love how we can relate to the stories also. Will be on the look out for more!

I bought ‘No deer around here’ for several children last Christmas and they absolutely loved it. It became a favourite book that they asked for night after night - so cute. I’ve therefore bought the second book ‘Any trout about’ for this Christmas. I know they’re going to love it. Both are lovely stories about children enjoying nature.

Our son has both books by Muddy Little Books and absolutely loves them. They are a clear favourite at bedtime and whenever we go for walks by the river he looks for the Trout to see if they are about. Such lovely books, well written and beautifully illustrated. Highly recommend

Lovely heartwarming stories that the kids love.

Having come across ‘There’s No Deer Around Here’, I was charmed by the urban tale of unexpected nature and loved the illustrations. Delivery and communications have been excellent and I love the ethos of the company.
