DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

After checking shipping info (as this was a Christmas gift) I placed a large order on Monday (9 days before Xmas) as they claim to use Royal Mail Tracked24 which says on RM website is 24 hour delivery. I recvd email Tuesday saying my order was complete (I guessed that meant had been despatched) So I was expecting it Wednesday/Thursday latest. No receipt so I emailed but no response. Parcel arrived late Friday. Saturday I went to wrap the gift and found the box contained only 2 items under a lot of packing peanuts. The main part of order was missing. I went on their live chat and had the misfortune of chatting to one of them and was told my order was en route from a different location as they were moving warehouse. My gut instinct told me this was a lie as there was no communication to confirm a second parcel had been sent. They just said it should be there Monday or Tuesday so I instantly knew they hadn’t sent it because if posted Tuesday previously it would not take a week to arrive. Their responses were flat and uncooperative and very defensive. I was told to be patient as they are just a small company with 2 people and trying their best and speaking to me on a Saturday and it was Royal Mail’s fault. Their response was so unprofessional and clearly they had messed up the order and not sent it as they were claiming. I’d seen previous reviews where Royal Mail is blamed and many not receiving their orders. I didn’t trust them and sent a strongly worded email and within minutes I received a reply saying after consideration they’d decided to refund part of my order as they don’t need customers like me complaining !!! So….clearly they lied about my order being en route. It had never been sent. They just palmed me off and were blaming RM. I then got notification of a part refund. So, beware. They don’t respond to emails and blatantly lie about orders being en route. The fact they have processed a part refund proves they were lying as why would they refund an order already en route?? Beware! They may have a high score review but I have no idea how they obtained those based on my own experience. And note they only respond to negative reviews!! I’ve never had the misfortune of dealing with such appalling customer care and blatant liars. If they’d been honest and said Sorry we’ve messed up but we will send the missing items straight away by guaranteed next day delivery I would have accepted that but they palmed me off with their lies then when I called them out they threw their toys out of the pram and refunded me saying they do not want my business. Edit : since posting this review I have received numerous emails from Trust Pilot as the company have flagged this review but I stand by it with proof of my emails and dealings with them. At the end of the day a Christmas gift did not arrive due to their error and instead of owning up they made up a story of it being on its way but as they issued a refund and a ‘go away we don’t want your business’ email to me it demonstrates clearly they know it’s not on its way to me. I will not be responding to them or answering their ridiculous reply. This platform allows for honest reviews based upon customers own experiences and this was mine. They do not like my tone. Well, it was their tone and their failures that promoted my honest review. Their response to my review is absolutely NOT my experience and I uphold my review in its entirety.
