Well, these guys don't mess about. Can too efficient be a negative? I made an order and an hour later decided to add another product and called on the hope of adding to original to save on postage. Trouble is, the first order had already been dispatched. Thanks for your efficiency and pronto delivery to the front door!

Great price and fast delivery This was my first order with Metro, I will be using them from now on, I recommend you do the same. I was able to buy the exact number of items for the job rather than having to buy a fixed pack size, the single items still working cheaper than bulk buying from two popular online platforms!

Had the fixing I needed with next day delivery at a great price. There was an error in the order which was sorted promptly without any hassle - a good sign that a company takes customer satisfaction seriously!

We've been using Metro Fixings as our primary supplier of fixings and consumables for about a year now. Deliveries are usually made in good time, especially when it's Metro's own delivery drivers. Communication is good and we are informed if something isn't available or if it is on a longer lead time - it can make a big difference.

Ordered Monday, came Tuesday, really good delivery service, the only minor issue is post fixing holes not drilled thro so had re-drill, also some weld slashes on top plate that should have been cleaned off prior to dipping, but all in all a very good service and product

Metro Fixings was the only place I could buy the items and initially i thoughts they seemed expensive. The ordering process was very easy, the items arrived quickly and were well packaged. On opening the boxes the reason for the price was very obvious, they are very well made and good quality. Very happy.

Order was badly packaged - nails in paper bags and nails loose in the box are both not really good enough. Was given the excuse of 'for the environment'... however, as the box was too weak for the weight, and had been left outside in the rain by the courier (next to a porch!). Joist hangers were a bit more forced together than I'd like, and all need bending true again. Customer service did send replacements for nails quickly. EDIT in response to comments: 1) it's good to be sustainable, but it shouldn't be an excuse. Cardboard boxes are perfectly fine for nails, and are sustainable - be sustainable certainly, but use the right materials. 2) the courier could have placed the parcel less than 1 meter away, and put it under the porch not next to it 3) there were two sorts of loose nails; one type was from 7 damaged bags all labeled with that type, the other had no bag labeled for that type. Either there was no bag when packaged or the whole bag fell out - as none of those appeared to be missing, the bag had to be fully empty and then fall out - seems more likely they were just chucked in without
