I started watching videos and studying for my PPL written prior to starting flight lessons. I took my test and passed before I took my first lesson. I have continued to review videos and have finished all but one of the courses to which I have access. The videos and accompanying material have acquainted me with what I need to know so that when I fly it reinforces the basic principles. Jon has an upbeat tone to his voice which holds my attention much better than many of the other videos that I have watched. Everything is covered in a clear, concise manner. I highly recommend this course. I am close to taking my check ride and plan to start IFR training as soon as I have my license.
