Dreamy set of colours
Dreamy set of colours. Coat gave my rooms personality and they’ve set the scene perfectly for both themes.

Flawless, quality paint
I used Coat Paints Low Salt to paint my bedroom with. It went on so beautifully and left the most even finish it looked like it had been sprayed on! Really impressed with the coverage, range of colours and overall quality of the paint. I’ll definitely be using Coat again!

Absolutely delighted with Coat Paints
Absolutely delighted with Coat Paints. We have painted a feature wall in Darlington and it went on very well. Our painter hadn't used it before but couldn't speak more highly of the paint. The colour picks up the natural light beautifully. We also painted the woodwork in Margot and it looks beautiful. Very pleased.

I’ve used the coat paint on some panelling in our bedroom and the paint is amazing. The colour choices are gorgeous and it went on the wall so well. Highly recommend this paint

Loved my experience with COAT prints…
Loved my experience with COAT prints from the very beginning. Customer service was excellent, Nichola was incredibly helpful at helping me calculate how much paint I needed for my space. Delivery was super fast. The products give a premium feel from the packaging to the colour itself. Most certainly will be our go to paint provider.

Looks great on the feed but not in real life
I’m still berating myself for getting sucked in by the well designed paint cans and the promise of a finish akin to that of the top ranking properties over on the Modern House. In reality though Coat paint falls well short of the mark. I purchased 2 cans of paint, one stated as being suitable for outdoor use and the second for indoor (both for wooden doors). The outside paint took around 5 coats to get an acceptable coverage but it bubbled and split and cost us a lot extra in terms of time with our decorator. It also looked rather different in colour to that of the sample we received. The paint we used for the interior wasn’t much better. It pulled off even when using professional masking tape and again took many coats to look like a finished door. Essentially I’d say just steer clear of this brand and go for a tried and tested paint from a company that have been manufacturing it for years. We were offered a free can of paint as opposed to the small amount of compensation we requested, to cover the extra costs and sheer disappointed we had to shoulder, and I can assure you, the irony wasn’t lost on me one bit.

Some of the best paint I’ve ever used
Saw Coat on the ol’ socials and when it was time to repaint the hallway and laundry room I though I’ve give them a go based on their positive environmental image and claims of how great their paint is. I was sceptical whether they could live up to the likes of Little Greene or Farrow & Ball but oh boy, I think I’ve found my new favourite paint company. For the laundry room I went with House Points in matt, this was going over a dark navy blue and after only a single coat you couldn’t even tell what the previous colour was. Absolutely fantastic coverage. The second coat went on like a dream and the finish is flawless; a nice flat matt and the colour is exceptional. The second colour I bought was The Record Store in matt. This was going over an eggshell bluey-black - I didn’t like the eggshell nor the bluey-black - I was dubious about it going over the eggshell but again flawless coverage and finish, and the colour is a fantastic warm-black. Also, The paint was applied in the great British heatwave of 30degC and still went on fine. I also ordered a large paint roller. The fact it is sustainable is really appealing and the bamboo handle ensures it’s not too fatiguing when painting all day. The roller gives a nice smooth finish but the only negative is the roller sleeve went a bit bobbly and little bits of fibre kept coming off onto the wall. Regardless I will be trying the other supplies from Coat and no doubt buy more of the roller sleeves. Overall a great experience. The paint is nice and creamy, flawless coverage, fantastic finish and no nasty smell. Also arrived on the day they said it would. Definitely my new favourite paint company.

Best Paint Ever!
I’m very much a perfectionist and I was searching for a good 5 hours for the perfect sage green shade for our bathroom. I checked all the bigger named brands I’ve used in the past and nope, no where near close to the shade I had my heart set on. After some time I came across Coat Paints and I’ll be honest, I’ve had never heard of them before. I was ecstatic when the search was over and they had exactly what I wanted! I was abit anxious not knowing the company but I risked it anyway. I started painting my bathroom today and I am amazed in the difference in quality. It says two coats recommended for the paint I got but it covered my ugly cream walls on the first go around so i managed to finish the whole room in less than a day. The smell is a lot less pungent than other brands. I had an awful experience using valspar paints when I first moved in so I’ve put this off for a long time. I’m so glad I found this brand and I can’t recommend them enough. I also accidentally sent my order to the wrong address and customer services were straight on it and they got it all fixed. The short delivery time is a plus.
