What a scam

What a scam. Just received a collection notice to my late Father's estate. He doesn't even use them and doesn't appear he is even in their service territory. Routed to endless phone chain. Person at 800 number refused to let me speak to a supervisor. It's a joke to call it a customer service department. Will report to all authorities for attempted fraud.

Giant Scam

I get this stupid letter in the mail saying my utility account is past due. I’ve never Had first energy. Never will. It’s all a scam. My electric bill is through another company that’s automatic deducted and my gas is on a co op auto deducted as well. Sad that this country has come to this and sooo many scams. What happened to honesty and working for what you have. Ridiculous

Find another electricity company!

They are the most expensive electricity company out in Texas! They have no common curtesy when assisting a valuable customer. When you have a question they take a long time to answer. I would never advise Just Energy to anyone.

Rip off at Samsclub

Nice representative (E B) inside Samsclub explained me that they will help me switch to Just Energy as a gas supplier with DTE without any change in price. My bill will only show Just Energy as the supplier. He promised there will not be any change in billing. Now I got the first bill and to my surprise it was 3 times more than what I was paying to DTE. This is a trap and rip off by Just energy (may be representative). I am not sure how Samsclub will allow them inside to sell the product to their members.

Paying Double

I was recently charged a procurement charge by Just Energy on my Socal Gas bill for this month and last month which doubled my monthly bill. I called Just Energy to get information on the charge and the representative said she had never heard of that type of charge and to call back in 72 hours to becuase she was going to put in a request to the billing department and have them look into it. Why couldn't she just transfer me to that department!? She said she couldn't and to just call back. I'm very upset!

Hoping I didn't make a mistake doing…

Hoping I didn't make a mistake doing what I did. Did not get a full explanation of what I signed up for. Young lady was very sweet and friendly and I was in a bit of a time crunch, never explained that my suppliers were changing. Made a mistake doing that once before with the promise of saving money on my electric bill and it turned out to cost more. I will give this a few months and hope for the best.

Be aware of scam!

I never had any services with Just Energy, however their "collections department" blackmailing me for past due account for $50. Filed complaint with BBB. UPD. Later I found that they switched my service from my local carrier to their company without my authorization and signed me up for 5 years. When I asked to provide me with the copy of the agreement they told that I signed commitment over the phone. Unbelievable.

Today I received a letter in the mail…

Today I received a letter in the mail advising that Just Energy did not have my correct email address, even though I have been on e-billing since becoming a customer several years ago. This tactic to get me to call in in order to sell additional products does not sit well with me. It should be noted that I routinely get the usual billing and furnace filter notifications, so the letter is an outright lie. If I wanted to subscribe to any additional services, I would contact my provider and not expect them to use skulduggery to force me to take time out of my busy day to contact them. Next time I get a letter like this, I will simply ignore it. :( For any of you who receive a similar letter and you are already on e-billing, beware. This is a tactic and should be ignored.
