BAAM The Life Saver!

I was out of control angry and acting out explosively and regularly. Now my idea of a meltdown is anxiety and frustration that the boiler broke down once a year! The techniques taught by and reading recommended by Mike Fisher and BAAM have changed my experience and outlook and I can live out the rest of my days in relative calm and contentment.

Genuinely a potential life changer

I find any form of help generally quite difficult to accept but I found the BAAM residential course over the weekend extremely approachable, hard yet enjoyable work and enlightening. Like any new skill it needs time and practice to master but for anyone who’s “lost it” more often than is healthy for them its a great start point for a life of lower blood pressure and peace with oneself.

10 years ago without even realising it…

10 years ago without even realising it I was at breaking point. My anger was out of control and was inexorably leading me on the path of destruction. I searched the internet for help. I typed anger management and the rest is history. I did a 14 week one on one course with Mike and it changed my life. I went from being uncontrollably angry to be able to recognise, navigate between, mitigate or avoid completely passive aggression, gaslighting and pure anger. I have never been happier since. Thank you so much

I enrolled on the Beating Anger Online…

I enrolled on the Beating Anger Online course not because I thought I needed it, but to show willing to the family courts in a case involving my children. I never thought that I had an anger issue. I can now hand on heart thoroughly recommend the course. The materials were fascinating and the course has given me some great tools and techniques that are helping me achieve better outcomes in life. Techniques for identifying and managing stress, awareness of how I am feeling and what my real needs are at any given time and methods for helping me communicate more effectively with people. I enjoyed the course, it was expertly delivered, it has been (and will continue to be) a real benefit and was money well spent. To sum up I wish I had done it years ago.

Where do I start

Where do I start? How about a marriage under massive strain and relationships with my children being no better due to me being a moody person who was blaming everyone else for my behaviour and seldom being nonaggressive - instead being aggressive overtly and in passive form. Frankly a pretty disgusting human being. However, I looked in the ugly mirror and realised that I have a duty of care to myself and the ones I love to really understand my feelings and emotions along with where they emanated from. Furthermore, I had to stop the cycle of pain - both to myself and the ones I loved. The course I enrolled onto was enlightening and life changing to say the least. Not only did I have an array of Eureka moments; I also had moments in which I understood my own story and how I had avoided being honest with my own issues and needs. The techniques that were taught are simply amazing and I can honestly say that I have gone 10 weeks now without expressing anger in a destructive way. Learning to love oneself and be at peace with insecurities, shame and fears has been a real eye opener. We all own our own feelings - and if you want to become better at it so that you become a better you; please do not hesitate to join the programme. The materials are very well written and extremely thought provoking. The remote nature of the course really works and it promotes lifelong friendships being forged. There is no shame in undertaking this brilliant form of personal development. My only regret is that I wasn't ready to accept the programme sooner as it would have helped with a decade-plus of unnecessary pain I caused myself and my loved ones.

10 years on and still gaining benefit....

I first had contact with BAAM over 10 years ago and attending a weekend course set my life in a completely new (positive) direction. Learning and developing the skills shared has improved all my relationships both personal and professional and my relationship with myself. I also have indirect experience of personal therapy sessions that have had massive positive impact with close family members. I can thoroughly recommend BAAM to anyone wanting to change or improve their relationship with anger or loved ones.
