Great experience from start to finish!! The drivers, the doctors, and staff made me feel very welcomed and you could tell they take pride to ensure the best possible outcome. Unlike American medical facilities where you impatiently, but eagerly wait for your name to be called, Dr Serkan Aygin's clinic has this "vibe" that makes you want to be there, excited to have your procedure, and almost sad you have to leave!! Special thanks to my interpreter Emre Sahin who really went out of his way to help me through the process and although he didn't have to, he tried to really get to know me as person and also explain to me the culture of Istanbul. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interesting in getting a hair transplant, but also check out their other procedures because based on what I saw they excel at all different kinds of things ie rhinoplasty, liposuction, dermatology, etc.

I have been to this clinic 5 years ago because of their reputation and it was great. Great staff, experienced member with Dr Serkan himself and at the time one of the only clinic proposing DHI method. I went back this time and it's now scalled it to a factory level. It's fine when volume is not detrimental to quality. All the service outside operation have improved, however the operation itself has deteriorated big time, and which is still for me the most important part. I cannot speak of other teams, but my team was very young and inexperienced, and supervisor almost inexistant. The anestesia didn't last more that 15/20min and the operators, didn't know how to do local anestesia correctly without inflicting massive pain neither use the DHI method correctly which resulted in extreme bleeding and extreme pain. It left me trembling at the end of the surgery, and blood everywhere. The number of plasma crusts on the morning on the scalp is significative of the harshness used and lack of technique in the reimplanting. You take DHI to normally preserve as much as possible the old hair and its supposed to be when masterised low invasive and low bleeding, that's exactly not what happened. After speaking with anestesist the product and dosages haven't changed so conclusion was the methodology of reimpant was not masterised correctly by the staff. The team was extremely disorganised, and had multiple people reimpkating starting one side and going other... no methodogly. They started reimpant then went back to extracting, then decided to extract chest and beard same time... I am not sure they have been trained like this. The supervisor was in corridor on the phone and monitoring multiple blocks. And the cherry on the cake is staff using iPhone and apple watch in the block. I mean I understand operation is long but this is unacceptable for hygiene and bacterias. I perhaps fell on a junior team, but as a client it's not my problem and it should be russian roulette to know what team are you going to get allocated. Probably manager stuff juged that because i was nit having the front line done, but the crown area, I would be fine with more junior team. It's totally unacceptable. I should have an experienced member especially when I am returning client. We dont know what doctor is operating you, no indication on the number surgery he executed and it's decided last minute. There is no one explaining nothing in the block on the procedure, translator coming 2 times only, supervisor, inexistant and left with staff not speaking well English. It's a major disappointment for this clinic which was at the top at one point and now for me at the bottom.... I have refered a lot of people to go to them and now unfortunately will not anymore after this horrible experience. I hope they haven't damaged my scalp...

Staff very gentle, they drove me along all the process very kindly, I've never been left alone, always informed properly. We will see the results in some months from now 🤞

Very organized/ professional/personable staff/up to standard of hygiene Always attending to your need Yet ,preferred more personalized care as too many patients all at once ,you feel you are at at conveyer belt.. was told of 30 patients undergoing the procedure, just for that am Also hotel was way below my expectations.. 3 star at best Would recommend use of The Marriott just adjacent to the clinic which eliminates all the commute back and forth and improves efficiency and cuts down on overhead cost for the practice In the long term, would work on improving the non Turkish language barrier between the team and the patient.. it is frustrating to be in a 7 hour procedure not feeling that the communication both ways has been fully achieved/ understood Most of the process has exceeded my expectations, but the main dissatisfaction was me not even glimpsing DR Serkan , the founder and expert,, not to say that my experience with Dr Emir Ali was very good The practice should promote both physicians equally, so that the patient feels that he/ she is in the best hands I have planned my procedure 6 months in advance wanting to see Dr Serkan based on recommendations from friends who were his patients, but was not accommodated as he was out the country and would have made alternative plans to meet with him had i known in advance , especially due to my busy schedule as a Cardiologist myself in the USA I will definitely refer my friends/ patients/ family members and hoping thst the practice will continue to evolve
