When I worked with Brock for the BBC1 programme Extraordinary Portraits, I was apprehensive and had my doubts, how can a person capture in one photograph a life lived, a life in the NHS, a life that has experienced and seen things no person should have to see, but also show Resilience, hope, compassion and experience. Not only did Brock manage to capture that but he brought it to life. The feedback from around the world I recieved is testimony to that with many saying the same thing 'it had me in tears'. Brock is a legend in his field and deserves every accolade going.

When my Dad showed me Brock’s post about wanting people with freckles to submit a photo of themselves as part of the submission process to be chosen for Brock's “Freckles” series… I honestly thought he was joking! After realising my Dad was being serious, I spent the afternoon taking photos and choosing the right one to send. Brock emailed back saying he would love to have me as part of his “Freckles” series. We had organised to meet in Sydney to have the portrait photographed, as Brock was there for his Beard exhibition. Two years after my portrait was photographed, Brock hosted the opening of the Freckles exhibition in Sweden at the Regional Museum of Kristianstad. I flew over with my Mum and upon arrival I was shocked to see my portrait on an enormous billboard outside the museum. I was honestly speechless by surprise, and I remember gasping when I saw the billboard for the first time! It was a very special moment standing there with my Mum… I never would've thought that I was going to be part of this project, to be the face of the "Freckles" series AND to be on a billboard as big as the museum itself! I thank Brock for the opportunity. I thank Brock for the experience. But most of all I thank Brock for seeing something in me… that I couldn’t. When I was younger, I hated how I looked, I hated that I was different and I hated every single one of my features; my red hair, my freckles, my pale skin. I had no confidence or self-appreciation for myself. After photographing with Brock, it felt special, and I started to foster the kind of self-love that grew because of the way someone else appreciated how I looked. Brock’s work is inspiring, pure and wonderful. He captures beauty from people that wouldn’t be typically considered as “beauty” to the media and majority of people. Now that’s what I call real work!

Where do I start? Brock is able to bring out beauty and confidence that you don’t know you have, it was an honour for me to be part of his “freckles” collection. These were a part of me that I did not love and yet he not only made me see their beauty, but more. A unique talent able to draw from his subjects, strength and beauty that allows the viewer to see, feel and appreciate. Brock, your work is incredible, your humility and compassion is infectious. I met Brock 8yrs ago after I was selected to participate in his first portrait series of this kind to raise awareness - Project60 - a global first initiative dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers of melanoma through world class portraiture of 60 epic bearded gents. Turns out he lived just down the road and so we met frequently during the course of the Project60 journey and have continued to stay in touch. Immensely talented and funny too, it’s been a pleasure and an honour to know him both professionally and personally. Since Project60, his selfless dedication to his work continues to focus on many other great causes, positively highlighting these through his unique photographic art and vision.

It was a great experience. Brock was great and Ernie, his dog, so lovely! I liked a lot the pictures and it was so easy to talk to Brock about my story. I had the honor of being part of the vitiligo project! one day I received a direct message from Brock on instagram inviting me to be part of that beautiful project, I didn't think twice and said YES. Although we had to wait almost six months to be able to do the photo shoot, but it was worth it. Brock from minute one created an atmosphere and made me feel at home, I remember him telling me "your instagram is full of very powerful and sassy photos, but I want to see a different side of you" at that time I did not understand well... But then we started the photo session and the way he addressed me was simply sublime, he told me "think of something that makes you feel a lot of love" I thought of my mother and at that moment my eyes began to fill with tears and Brock said "yeah that's beautiful, amazing, perfect". We finished the session and he told me it will take a few weeks to be able to choose a photo and edit, and the next day I am in tower bridge and I get a notification of a post, when I saw the photo I cried again, I had never seen myself that way before , It was a very special moment. I would definitely do it again. I think Brock knew how to make every person in the vitiligo project shine. he simply knows how to capture beauty with his camera. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I was photographed by Brock during his project 60. It was an incredible experience and I’m honored that someone so talented took photographs of me! The shooting was fun, Brock knows what he wants. That makes things a lot easier. We practice the new “Elbank look” over and over. It seems to work. A big full happy day where we reached our goal, where we exchanged ideas and projects, where we learned things from each other, where we became richer persons. Brock was happy with the result. Before hiring Video Rockets for an explainer video of my company's new mobile app, I searched Google for an affordable yet quality company to get my job done. After talking with quite a few I find video rockets offerings to match my need. I hired them and end result was exactly as I wanted. A cool explainer video. This Black & White Portrait was a little dark & muddy. It is not crisp like it is on my Mac Book Pro. I am having a series of prints made for a gallery showing. So this was a test.

I have been using Fromex for my B&W prints for several years now, and they always exceed my expectations. Lately I shoot most of my B&W on Ilford film, and send the scans to Fromex. The silver halide true B&W prints I receive via the USPS are gorgeous; exactly what I have come to expect from Fromex. The Ilford Pearl photo paper they use is superb. I have also sent digital files from my DSLR cameras with excellent results. The proprietor of Fromex is a great person, and a pleasure to deal with. I will continue to use Fromex as long as they are in business, or until I am too old to hold a camera!

I haven’t received my order yet and tracking info is non existent. I’ve ordered previously and the prints were great. Better tracking would be helpful.

The finished silver gel print on RC paper was exactly what I had previewed on my computer.

Jeg var lidt skeptisk inden skifte. Da jeg havde et andet marketing firma inden jeg var stærk utilfreds med. Mikkel fra dynamik fik mig overbevis om at et skifte må sige dynamik har levet op til hvad de har lovet og yde god service. En stor tak til mikkel sanjin og Alberte for god service

Man kan ikke stole på dette firma. Efter at have indgået aftale med dette firma, blev jeg (efter at have talt med min mand) meget frustreret over bindingsperioden og også de tre måneders opsigelse inden udløb. Jeg bad om et møde og der blev lovet at Dynamik naturligvis inden denne tre måneders opsigelses fælde, ville kontakte undertegnede og høre om jeg var interesseret i fortsættelse af aftalen, hvilket også vil være etisk rigtigt, for hvem kan huske tre år frem i tiden, på det samme møde blev jeg også lovet at uanset hvad, så var hjemmesiden min ejendom, Jeg accepterede, dog modstridende de tre års løbetid ud fra det der blev lovet på dette møde. Jeg bad også om få det på skrift, men ej heller dette blev efterlevet, jeg fik desværre ikke fulgt op på dette efterfølgende. (der var 2 vidner med til dette møde) Efter de 3 år blev jeg i stedet præsenteret for en ny faktura på 30.000 kr for nye 3 års service, netop fordi jeg ikke havde opsagt i rette tid, hvilket de udmærket godt var klar over ville ske og som det formentlig sker 9 ud 10 gange, for deres kunder. Efterfølgende nægtede jeg at betale, da jeg under ingen omstændigheder ønskede at samarbejde med sådan et firma, det resulterede straks i trusler om advokat og retssag. Efter egenkontrol af den indgåede aftale 3 år tidligere, viste det sig at det eneste jeg har set, er en ordrebekræftelse og vel at mærke, ordrebekræftelse skrevet med store bogstaver, hvilket via Retskrivnings loven, betyder at dette dokument ikke har nogen juridisk gang og dermed ikke kan bruges til noget som helst. Samtidig havde de skrevet Esbjerg Kommunes cvr nummer på ordrebekræftelsen samt klinikkens navn som ikke er mit firmanavn, selvfølgelig havde jeg skrevet under på denne ordrebekræftelse, men guderne må vide hvilket firma de ”indgået kontrakt med” - så professionelle kan man ikke kalde dem. Efter de blev gjort opmærksom på ovenstående, var det pludselig ikke nødvendigt med advokat og retssag længere, men i stedet lukkede de bare min hjemmeside, hvilket jeg udtrykkeligt havde fået at vide at uanset hvad, så var hjemmesiden min ejendom. Når der indgås aftaler firmaer i mellem, skal begge parter have en kopi af den underskrevne kontrakt, dette er ej heller efterlevet, faktisk har jeg slet ikke set en kontrakt endnu, det eneste jeg har set, er en ordrebekræftelse og vel at mærke, ordrebekræftelse skrevet med store bogstaver Det er en hensynsløs måde, at forsøge at låse firmaer fast i en i en opsigelses fælde, som typisk bliver praktiseret af firmaer som laver og servicere hjemmesider, de ved udmærket godt, at kunden formentlig ikke husker at opsige i rette tid. Dynamiks argument for at praktisere denne opsigelses fælde er citat; ” er nødvendigt er på baggrund af planlægning af resurser”, hvilket ikke giver mening overhovedet, da en mail sendt til kunden, i god tid, ville give dem tid til at planlægge deres resurser, så dette er bare en dårlig undskyldning.

Da Danlamp startede et samarbejde med Dynamik Marketing for et år siden virkede alt fint og de havde nogle gode ideer til fremtidig hjemmeside og markedsføring. Halvdelen af det aftale blev betalt (kr. 25.000) og efterfølgende har vi konstant rykker for at komme i gang, tilbagemelding osv. Vores hjemmeside blev aldrig lavet og markedsføringen var så dårlig lavet, at vi fik ingen resultater ud af det. Vores penge er tabt - ærgerligt at bruge så mange penge og timer på ingenting. 05.12.24 Hej Mikkel, Tak for din tilbagemelding. Da du ikke på noget tidspunkt har været involveret i processen eller i dialog med mig eller min virksomhed, så vurderer jeg, at du kun ser sagen fra en side. Til andre læsere, Jeg vil anbefale, at stole mindre blindt på sælgere fra Dynamik Marketing end jeg gjorde og helt sikker aldrig skrive under på de 3 eller 5 årige aftaler, som de meget gerne vil lave.
