We are in process of renting a house..

We are in process of renting a house... rent4sure made it too difficult for us... they ask for payslips , bank details and irrevelent questions... we feel insecure our details might get leak to other agencies. We are providing each document several times I believe there is miss communication amongst staff too.

I would recommend them

I would recommend them. I am a letting agent who has used Rent-4-Sure for a number of years. I have always found them to be very helpful. When I've had to make a claim they have always paid as per their policy and their solicitors have dealt with all the legal work up to and including attending court.

Worst experience trying to move ever.

I could repeat what everyone else has written here regards to their practices, but what's the point, they'll do as they please and claim it's in everyone's best interests, when I look to rent I will avoid this company at all costs, I wouldn't trust them with anything, they made every interaction shady so you couldn't help but feel like you were having your identity stolen, and required more information than anyone should ever ask of you, avoid, avoid, avoid, there's better and easier ways to find housing than through them.

I have offered to be a guarantor to help a relative rent a house. Rent4sure behave like a scam everything communicated is marked urgent. The amount of date requested is extremely invasive: 6 months salary slips, permission to approach my employer, evidence of savings equivalent to 24 months rent, bank statements, council tax bills, addresses over the last 6 years. The list goes on and on and is endless. This company requires all the information the government and banks warn us not to share to avoid scams. Take note landlords and guarantors if you are worried about being scammed don’t respond to this companies emails.

avoid at all costs.

I am a letting agent and landlord, please don't use this company, I took out approx. 10 rent insurance policy's, when I finally had to make a claim on one, it was a nightmare and they would not pay out the correct amount, I asked them to amend it or I would take further action, the didn't, I served court proceedings on them and after been a customer for approx. 10 years they then blocked my account! has caused me and my business great stress and further costs.

Good experience

I had a very good experience overall, the people of this company were very helpful and efficient. The only thing that bothered me was the amount of documents required. It never happened to me before to give so many things in order to rent a property. However that is not a major issue when you have all that you need! Also big thank you to the person that called me to sort my broadband for the new property, very nice and helpful guy!

I personally found it really invasive

I personally found it really invasive, the amount of documentation required and would have appreciated a little more transparency or explanations. i.e we need to cross reference your name address and income across payslips and bank statements. (Just using this as a hypothetical example - I'm not sure what they need it all for!). The amount of documentation or information asked might be the new normal but it was quite shocking to me! I will give them credit for speed, following up, and I found them to be professional and polite on the phone.
