PM247 delivered top-notch service when I had an urgent plumbing issue. The engineer, Nick, was prompt, professional, and resolved the problem quickly. I’m very satisfied with the service and will definitely call them again.

I had a leaking bath tap that was failing and needed replacing. These guys were asking over £800. When I told them to pack up and leave the price immediately dropped by 50%. There is no justification for the price, they will just gouge you for whatever they can get. If they know you’re desperate, then they will try it on. 13 emails, 8 phone calls from them over the course of 2 hours. Contracts that need to be signed, banking details that don’t work, multiple bank accounts … to replace a tap!! At worst it is a scam, at best its just a very expensive and unpleasant experience.

Avoid this company! Do not trust their star rating! Look closer at how many and how often this company is getting top ratings from customers on a daily basis for such a small company. I have good reason to believe they are fraudulent! To sum up, I was pressured into paying in advance for work that was never done. I signed a contract with a 14-day cooling-off period and within the first 7 days of this period, I contacted PM247 Ltd in writing to cancel my contract and return my money. Monday, 13-01-2025, I contacted this company for a plumber to fix a dripping tap and replace a faulty stop-valve. The call-out charge was £140 plus VAT. When the plumber arrived, he informed me that he couldn't replace the stop-valve as the water pipe was non-standard and would have to fit another next to it. He then examined my tap and informed me that it was discontinued and made phone calls to find a supplier, he then told me he could get the parts but it would take 2-3 days. He then quoted a price £594. I foolishly accepted it and PM247 Ltd called me to get payment. Whilst I was making the payment the plumber left my property, and I thought he had gone to get a stop-valve, but he didn't return. I called PM247 Ltd back and I was told he would return in 2-3 days to do all the work. Friday, 17-01-2025, I had to chase PM247 Ltd they then told me that the parts would take 5-7 days longer. Suspicious, I made some investigations. I discovered that my water piper is standard and available from any plumber's merchants, I called the manufacturer of my taps Bristan, and they informed me spare parts were easily available from them or any plumber's merchants for my particular taps. Realising I had been duped, I contacted PM247 Ltd and informed them in writing that I was cancelling my contract as per my 14-day cooling-off period, and I asked for a refund. They have not refunded, so I am taking legal action against them.

PM247 is hands down the best plumbing service I’ve used. The engineer, John, came out to fix a leaking pipe and did an excellent job. He was on time, polite, and worked fast. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Operative that attended was amazing, really kind and polite - unfortunately that's where the good news for PM247 ended. When the operative was unable to clear the blockage the office called to provide their "revised" quote. I was charged £600 to have a wet vac put on my bath for 5 mins to clear a hair blockage! When i questioned the justification for the quote on the phone i was told the work was complex and would take a long time. Utter Rubbish! Absolute con! I will NEVER use this company again.

This company needs looking into. Their website is not fit for purpose. They took 4 hours to come out, not the one hour stated on their website. I have sent multiple emails about the OAP discount stated on their website without getting a satisfactory reply. I want to know how much was the discount on my bill of £714!, but they are unable to work it out. Avoid this company if you value your sanity.
