The service was great ! My engineers was lovely explained what the issue was and how it would need to be resolved clearly. He made me feel involved and aware of how to avoid it. Also the people on the phones were so helpful throughout the whole process as well. They were clear about the price, which in my opinion was extremely reasonable in my area. Will 100% be using them again ;)

Amazing service, I would recommend them to everyone. The office staff were so efficient and informative and the engineer was so polite and professional. They came out within the hour and carried out the work in a clean and professional manner.

Phone calls from the staff in the office to make sure things were going OK. - I would have liked more clarity on the pricing from the get go - there was alot of going back and forth to get to the final price for works to be carried out. - Although everything was resolved, I felt the price was way too high. I felt ripped off 😞. It literally took him 10mins! I had no choice! - As a first time user of the service, I did not like that I had to pay for a service before the job got started. 😞 I will use again if I don't have to encounter the above 3 issues.

Avoid this company. After cleaning my kitchen sink basket strainer, i noticed the screw would not go back in as the screw socket had broke. They charged £150 to examine the problem and charged a final total of £350 for the work that took 10mins to fix. I was waiting for a big delivery so could not leave the house. I understand there is a call out charge for work, but they are ripping people off.

Had an electric shower that was glitchy. Excellent call response time and the call centre & plumber were polite & friendly. I was told the shower needed replacing, as it was probably an electrical fault, but was then quoted over £720 for the job! The shower unit was only £100, so didn't feel this was a fair price for labour for a couple of hours work. I still had to pay the initial £168 call out fee which was painful, but know I can get it replaced for cheaper. I wouldn't use them again unless it was a dire emergency (or I won the lottery) due to the astronomical charges.

Called out because toilet was filling up.Paid the 120 call out ,Had to have new insides but cost was extortionate £340 for parts that only cost about £80.Asked for an itemised invoice twice but not forthcoming .Absolute rip off don't use .

Plumber brilliant though did seem like a very high bill

We had an urgent drainage issue and the engineer was out within 1.5 hours to help us. When he came he was very efficient and explained everything very well

Overall, my problem was solved and the engineer was polite. However, I was continually in position where he was trying to upsell me (upwards of £500) for a simple toilet clog. When trying to assess the situation he couldn’t rely on his years of experience to give an estimate of the problem to proceed, he simply went with the most expensive option without first trying the basics to fix the problem. Luckily, I pressed to try the basics first and the problem was solved quickly. Overall trust in the service in the future is minimal because of this, and the pricing is too much given such service.

Utter shambles. Had a new dishwasher delivered (different company) who said the pipe connecting to it was leaking. Called PM247 who could come next day and quoted 140+VAT for a 2-hour call out. Any parts and/or extra time required would cost extra depending on the problem. Plumber came (he was fine) and within a few minutes diagnosed the problem (dishwasher valve connected to the pipe needed replacing). He had the part in the van and said it’d take a few minutes once HQ had called me with the final quote… 295 + VAT. I googled the part (a few pounds from screwfix) and the plumber confirmed that was the part. I simply refused to pay (anything) as it’s a scam to even insist on paying the callout fee if all they do is rack up the actual price on site. The fact HQ agreed to not charge me anything when I threatened to call an ombudsman tells you everything about their business. Avoid at all costs. They will simply quote outrageous costs and assume you’ll pay the initial 140 regardless. I wouldn’t have minded (as I’d been told upfront) if they’d added say a 20% markup on the RRP of the part. But to essentially charge 155 quid for a part that is a few pounds max is extortionate. The total time to fix the issue was well within the initial 2 hour window so it wasn’t the plumbers time I was being quoted extra for.
