Ridiculous returns policy - avoid

A product costing £39 will cost £32 to return, as it must be sent back to a depot in Germany(!) despite this company having a dot co dot uk website address. As such I'm left with a product I cannot use. The return policy is unclear on the website. Avoid.

Know you're rights!

I wish I'd read these reviews before. As per another reviewer I ordered a chair mat for carpet. After only 3 days use it cracked badly. Asked for refund. Told to send back at own expense which is illegal. Know your rights! Now progressing resolution with credit card company.

This company need striking off...I returned their items and paid horrendous postage to an address that doesn’t exist...as a result they have been returned to me...PayPal are as useful as a chocolate fire guard for getting refunds for this company...

Do not use this company the measurements of the matt I ordered wasn't what I received, like everyone else I wish I read these comments first. They expect me to pay for a track postage and will not refund the postage. I told them that was illegal and they are now ignoring my emails. Zero stars if I could.

Poor Quality & Misleading company title.

Same experience as previous reviewer. I purchased a PRO series mat. Cracked in the first week. Used on a new medium pile carpet with a new office chair, 5 wheel base. Contacted customer services and was offered a 15% discount. I wanted to return the itme for a full refund / replacement. I was given an address in Germany for the return. This would have cost over £40.00 and it was to be at their discretion for refund or replacement. The quality is very poor. A week later and the mat is now cracked everywhere and of no use. They did give the 15% discount, but be warned this is a German based company operating under a UK title.

Cracked within a few weeks

PRO Series floormat ordered and arrived well packed. However mat is brittle - cracked badly into bits in less than a month - used on carpet in home office with office chair on 5 roller feet. I contacted customer service but I was told to send back to Germany (at my cost) before any consideration of replacement/refund. This is useless as the cost of packaging (I had thrown delivery packaging out) and postage of a large heavy mat would probably be more than it is worth. I sent picture but company refused to consider this. Overall, money wasted - avoid.

Lost £42

I only read the reviews once my product broke. It looks like I’ve suffered a common problem - floor mat arrived, used it for two weeks, floor mat fell apart, Floormats.co.uk disappear. Turns out they’re a German company with no proper UK set up. Please avoid, unless you want to waste a bit of money. Now I, scratching my head how to get my money back (seller has disappeared).

Bought a matt for use on carpet and it cracked within 2 weeks of regular use. Amazingly i managed to get a refund thro paypal and ordered another which has turned out to be even worse! it has numerous cracks and failures. DO NOT purchase this product as it it pretty useless. Disappointingly yours.

Avoid this company

I wish I had checked reviews before ordering from Floormats UK. My terrible experience with them seems to be quite common. I ordered a chair mat that cracked after only 3 months of use. I contacted Floormats UK and supplied photos, but they wouldn't refund unless I return the item to Germany at my expense (I thought I was buying from a UK company). I pointed out that the item is not fit for purpose and that I am not obliged to pay return costs for faulty items (more than the item cost) - they did not reply. I raised a dispute through PayPal but unbelievably, they sided with the vendor. By purchasing from Floormats UK I have lost £42.

I also wish I could put no stars! The item sent was not as described on their website so clearly misrepresented. However because an item was correctly delivered, even though it was not what I ordered, this is my problem and I have to return it to Germany via courier at my expense. I too wish I had read the reviews. I have raised a dispute with Paypal.
