Pity I can't give "minus" stars. Zero would be too many. This company delivered damaged goods and are refusing to give me a refund. I will avoid in future. Nothing more to say!

One star is 5 too many. I wish I had read this thread before I ordered from this company. I'm making a mental note to check out companies new to me before I buy online as it appears online shopping is going to become a much more common form of shopping. Still waiting for a tracking number for an item I ordered over two weeks ago. Very poor disinterested communication via email. Please don't buy from this company and find one who actually shows some consideration or care for their customers. One star is 5 too many.
Shattered heavy duty floor mat from awful german firm
I purchased a heavy duty floor mat for use on a carpet in a study. After less than 8 weeks it has shattered under one of the five castors on my office chair. Wrote to Floormats.co.uk and told to return it to Germany at a cost equivalent to the retail price. They couldn't give a damn. The quality appeared upon arrival to be good but clearly made of shoddy material which cannot stand light use in a warm room as it shattered so soon. Beware this is not a UK company, has nothing to do with the UK, it is just a front for a german outfit so you will not be treated fairly as you would from a UK firm. I would avoid this firm at all costs to avoid being treated badly when your product fails.

And it's a "cut and paste" exercise here; everything that has been described in the other 1* (0* reviews) is exactly what I have experienced. A poor product which cracked within a short time of using it; contacted Customer "Services" via website (ignored) so used email address to be informed I should send mat back for "inspection" at my own expense: "We are sincerely sorry that the products delivered to you do not meet your expectations. Every product is carefully checked for defects before being dispatched to guarantee a flawless and satisfactory delivery." Alas, I explained this was not a satisfactory reply and was told "We are sincerely sorry that you are dissatisfied with this process, however, we ask for your understanding in that we cannot offer any compensation without carrying out an inspection of the items.". Don't waste your money, it's a substandard product from a substandard company. Buy from Amazon or a company who are actually prepared to help you if they sell you a faulty product.

I would leave a 0 star review if it were possible. I wish I had seen this before ordering, when they appear on Google the rating underneath actually looks pretty good! (Lesson learnt to always check Trustpilot!). Bought a 'heavy duty' mat which has developed cracks within a couple of weeks (seems to be a common issue!!) I am now expected to pay more than the mat cost in postage to return it to Germany so they can 'inspect' it?! Terrible company, even worse customer service. Will be speaking to Trading Standards to see if they can do anything. Avoid at all costs!!!
Shocking
Same experience as most others - awful! I would HIGHLY recommend going to citizens advice to report them - they pass this to trading standards and eventually companies like this will get looked into a closed - Trading standards dont look at one off cases so the more people report them the higher chance we have of them being investigated.

Agree with what has been said. Bought a mat, cracked within 2 weeks and I'm expected to return to Germany at my own cost. Avoid this company.

Wish I’d seen these reviews - have had my chair mat for under a month and it’s already got big cracks in it. Again - I’ve been asked to send back to Germany even though they make out they’re a UK company. Very disappointed

Oh dear, I wish i'd read these reviews prior to purchasing a chair mat from this company. Cracked in under 2 weeks! company want me to send item to Germany at my own cost, so they can 'investigate issue. I suspect in reality no refund will be forthcoming, and the mat will simply be used as recycled material to make a new mat to sell to another unsuspecting customer. Avoid at all costs

Update 18/8/20: Refunded via Paypal. Company refused to engage at all with the PayPal resolution process. End result, PayPal find in your favour. Don't let Floormsts.co.uk get away with it, raise a dispute or contact your card issuer. Avoid at all costs. I am another one of the Pro mat victims. Cracked after a few weeks and continues to get worse. They offer small refunds so I "avoid any extra expense". Why would I want a broken item? They fail to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and insist on you sending it back to Germany at your expense yet they have a UK address. Rubbish product, rubbish service.
