MYAGI gives you a heart attack

this mob are a scam, they stitch you up with fast talking and DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING...they will not negotiate. My financial situation changed drastically and I tried to speak with them as about what was happening and that I could not now afford the cost. Doesn't matter. No negotiation, nothing. I had to cut up the credit card attached to the finance with a third party...and now this will effect my credit rating as they chase me and will probably take legal action against me. If they were reasonable, I might have had a look at doing it later down the track. But no, I have a sick taste in my mouth with this awful organisation. Fair Trading can't do anything. I am now getting my lawyer to try and get something out of these CRIMINALS...NO SERVICE HAS EVEN BEEN PROVIDED...Health care my arse....money grubbers. Everything they 'offer' can found online for free or in books. You can't see what you are getting until after you have paid. Over-priced hype machine with a strong turnover in staff too. I don't think they are happy either.

Mayagi: Your one-stop-shop for your health goals

Their plan with all the available resources set you up for life with their meal plans and valuable information. Very friendly consultants who had very good product knowledge, therefore quick answers on just about everything, lifestyle and diet. Also they were very understanding with the challenges we all face.

A guide to healthier you

Abundance of information to help guide you through a more healthier way of life. Great tips, docs and tools on habit breaking and mindful choices both mentally, physically and food related. Mind Coaches and Dr Walker advice is great. The Dietitians are young, dedicated and informative. Like any health program you need time, plan and commitment to it, it is not a miracle program. You do need consistent dedication to learn and absorb, otherwise a waste of your money and resources.

Miyagi helped me reset my lifestyle to healthy

It's been 12 months since I commenced my 6 month program with Miyagi. The dietitian coaching sessions were very helpful in keeping me on task and gave me plenty of tips on healthy eating and encouragement to exercise. Best of all it gave me ownership of the lifestyle changes I made, so since completing the program, I haven't returned to my poor habits. I have continued to maintain my new weight, especially good over winter when I used eat lots of comfort food and hibernate from exercise.

Don't Do It!

I joined October 2023 after being bamboozled by a fast talking Irish Guy. I ended up being convinced 12 months subscription is what I needed. So I started and I had a dedicated dietitian who I met with fortnightly as a fixed time and it was great. She left in April to have a baby and since then I have had no appointments, no dietitian, no nothing..... However they continue to take the exorbitant costs out fortnightly. Every time I make a complaint they scramble to do something but nothing ever happens, I advised I was going on holiday and wouldn't be available for a date they had finally suggested, yet they still called me overseas...... Whatever. Now they've offered to extend my subscription as opposed to giving me any money back for services I have not received. Honestly, I would not recommend this service (haha) to anyone. I am absolutely appalled and plan to seek assistance from the ACCC as this kind of "scam" needs to be addressed.

Ask for the ability to cancel and get your money back if it doesn't work or is not suitable for you !.

Ask for the ability to cancel and get your money back if it doesn't work for you or you find it is not suitable for you! My experience in life is that we are all different and for some this program will work. I would also say that the capability and the ability to help you will vary from dietician to dietician to be able to meet your needs and help you. On this basis, I have a big issue with there no cancellation and pay up front policy - this is a reason not to go with them. I can echo other feedback around their sales tactics are pushy, that they seemed very dis-organised and no accountable for delivering any results once you have paid the money. I was told that they only accept people who are suitable for the program and will benefit from it, however for me, my weight actually increased, and my bad cholesterol was higher at the end of the program. On their FB there have been many that haven't benefitted from it and feel that they this program is a money grab. Don't sign up if you can't cancel and get your money back !

Disrespectful and Arrogant and only concerned about Money

Due to our experience, there is no way that I could recommend this arrogant organisation. I recently looked to join, but on the evening that I had my interview, our home hot water system unexpectedly blew up. Because of this, we decided to delay joining for a few months. However, we received the following email in response “Hi Brett Thanks for your email! Do you mean it's just bad timing? I am confused, You said you were 'motivated to change'... Brett, how are you going to change all this on your own, or without the right help? Most everything else out there is crap... and we are the best people to help you achieve all that you told me you wanted. No one is going to stand around at your grave or over your hospital bed saying, "Well, at least Brett saved that 4K on the health program." Are you looking at the big picture here? Best Name removed”

The service is incredibly DISORGANISED

The service is incredibly DISORGANISED! There are multiple apps to manage and none of them seem to integrate well causing constant confusion and frustration... Felt like the advice I was given was very generic almost like they were reading off a script. No personalisation to my situation at all. The onboarding process was smooth thanks to Sofia but shortly after she disappeared from the team. This constant turnover of staff is worrying and makes the program feel unstable.
