Would have been nice to have been offered the unpacking service that had been paid for prior to delivery. Upon emailing to state the service wasn’t offered upon delivery they were very defensive suggesting this had been our fault as it was ‘our responsibility’ to inform driver of this service we had paid for. Driver friendly enough but quick to get away as soon as boxes in room. Don’t offer a chargeable service if you can’t provide!!!!

People list moving as the most stress filled event of their lives; especially if it’s a long distance move. Having acquired 3 estimates, surveys, video walk-throughs and investigated companies house information, we decided to give Fox our business. This whole experience of trying to buy and sell has not gone easily; it’s been 6 months and at one point we thought the whole thing was going to fall completely apart! We explained all of this so we were to say the least a bit stressed. Fox then decided, 7 days before the move to hit us with £1000 change to the contract and full payment up front. After emails and phone calls back and forth between Charmaine Rees and Dan Fox, we had come to an agreement that we would pay a deposit and the balance out of the proceeds of sale, provided I could get Dan a signed contract from my solicitor saying all of this. I called back and informed Charmaine that our solicitor was on holiday so instead of the deposit etc. could we pay the full amount but split between two credit cards. Now, mind you, this is all on the day or the day before we need to pay to guarantee our slot. Charmaine indicated that she couldn’t make that decision and that Dan would have to call us back to arrange this. He never called. So, what would any other reasonable person do? We got on the BAR website, arranged 3 further quotes and surveys; they all turned up and went above and beyond, but only 1 could accommodate our dates. Not only did they go above and beyond, they came in £1,715.88 less than Fox for twice the service. Dan then calls this morning to blame me and say that it’s my fault that he now has to find work for a crew and truck that he’s worked so hard and moved stuff around to arrange especially for us. No empathy and no accountability for himself or how it was handled previously. No doubt some poor lower person will get the blame but this sits squarely on Dan Fox’s shoulders who couldn’t be bothered to make a phone call or send an email to say yay or nay to full payment split between two cards. I will be leaving a 5 star review for Watson Removals later.

Tried to charge 100GBP extra for "increased fuel charge and driver retention" We moved from china back to the UK, and the most expensive part of the trip for the company would have been moving the boxes within the UK and unpacking for us in our house. The company asked us to pay 100GBP for increased fuel charge and driver retention. Do not trust this company.

Would live to thank Fox's for the professional way they handled the removal job for us in Cardiff last week at short notice. Carl and Jack were extremely helpful and efficient and hard working and enabled us to have a stress free experience.

Super guys. Very careful & efficient with packing. Also kept their humour after a long drive & having to carry everything upstairs at my new home.

This is a very honest and respectable Company who clearly try hard to give a good service. The two men who completed our move struggled and battled with the heavy furniture, the weight of which was clearly very underestimated in the survey. They did their very best and we could not ask for more but the job needed four men and would then have been much safer for those involved. Recommended but make sure all aspects of the job are considered at survey time.

From the initial quotation appointment I felt I could trust Fox Removals with my house move and I wasn’t disappointed. Mike and Adam were quick, efficient whilst being reassuring, professional and incredibly careful with our furniture and valuables. I would recommended this company to anyone that asks and they are definitely value for money. Thank you for making moving day a lot less stressful.

The most stressful day you could experience, yet the Team that took me 40 miles to my new abode were excellent, both in the performance of their duties and in the way they interacted to keep everyone moving forward despite the trials and tribulations put our way by outside forces.
