Delicious, good proportion of meat to mesa. I docter them up with enchilada sauce (usually verde green sauce), their queso, and/or Chile, sour cream, and green onions. Favorites are pork, beef, beef and fillet mignon.

The tamales are the best ones I have had in a long time!!! My only disappointment was we were supposed to get 6 Filet Mignon tamales in the Super Bowl pack and we didn’t get them!!

I use to live in Chicago, married a Mexican guy who's family made "home made" tamales which were wonderful and made some on my own.. but divorcing and moved to Texas over 35 years ago and tried to find decent Tamales but all were ok but not good because they put 95 % masa and little filling... was about to give up after all these years but finally decided to try Texas Lone Star Tamales as I really miss good ones and I can honestly say yours are the best since I left Chicago and really taste like "home made" and just the right amount of masa! Thank you for bringing a little of Chicago to me in Texas where I thought I would get good ones but was sadly disappointed with each one I had tried and I went purposely to Mexican restaurants to try their tamales and each time would not go back... I bought pork, beef, chicken and cheese tamales and they were the best we have ever had. Packed full of fillings. We also tried the chili and queso and those were excellent as well. It was a great treat for my parents 72 wedding anniversary!!!! Thanks !

I have ordered three times now. Never been disappointed… our families favorite is the habanero chicken or pork! We tried them last night in the air fryer and it gave them a little crisp to the outside. Was very good that way! My son-in-law is Latino and was raised on tamales. He gave these a 5. I get nothing for this review just telling the truth

I've been all over the states and had opportunity to taste many different styles of prepackaged tamale. Given they were shipped, and not homemade that day, these were at the top of charts in flavor, texture, and size. I pray you offer more with cheese and pepper the same size so I can order that combo. I would give this a hundred stars if I could! My husband thought I was nuts for dropping $200 on tamales, but he quickly rediscovered how wonderful I am when he tasted them! Tastiest recipes, quality ingredients, perfectly balanced tamales. The best things I’ve put in my mouth in a long, long time. They came packaged extremely well. Honestly worth EVERY penny! You won’t be disappointed.
