Couldn’t find a local mom and pop Tamale makers for the holidays so I tried Lonestartamales. We were not disappointed!!! The pork tamales were sooooo good!!!

I am so disappointed. I ordered steak, chicken and cheese. They all tasted exactly the same, filled with mush. Growing up in Colorado, Texas and Arizona, the neighbors made tamales and shared them over the Holidays, I was hoping for a taste from the past. Not even close. A very expensive lesson.

All I can say is WOW!!! Best tamales ever! I ordered a combo package for Christmas Eve dinner and these tamales were a hit! Customer service was exceptional. The tamales were shipped to me in New York. Perfectly packaged and they were still frozen. I was very impressed. I will order again. These will be a staple in my freezer! Absolutely delicious. These tamales are smaller than California style tamales but way better tasting! I've had a lot of tamales here that have lots of masa and little filling. These Texas style tamales have a great balance of masa and filling. Everyone that tasted them loved them. The Big Tex tamales were perfect in size for my taste buds!

I really love these tamales but at $2.41 each they are out of my price range. I used to buy your large quantity package deals but they aren't deals any longer. I did the math and they seem to come out to the same price per tamale no matter what and I end up with flavors that I don't really want. I keep thinking you'll have a good deal show up in my email but I think I'll be unsubscribing. If you can afford them, they are fantastic!
