A quick search on the internet for a particular Makita router, and up comes Tooltray. Price was remarkably good, and though out of stock, it was with us inside a few days. Oh, and they let us know straight away of the stock issue. Good to work with.

A straightforward order for some sanding sheets. Unfortunately they were out of stock and Tooltray emailed at once to let me know. The sanding sheets arrived only a few days later and were just what I had ordered. No problem.

Unless it is something very unusual, or something you do not need in a hurry, you are still probably better off going to a shop, at least that way you get on the spot advice.

A day or so after the item arrived , I telephoned to see if you could supply me a Makinta trolly for the Makita mlt 100 bench saw. Nobody answered the telephone, so I was asked to leave a message to ring me back. You never responded to this date so I purchased the item from Axminster tools at a very good price and they do answer telephone messages. After a good start you have now lost a purchase and a customer.

Having ordered 2 Black & Decker Workmates on line, I received an email letting me know that although they were temporarily out of stock, they anticipated that new stock should be with them in 2-3 days. Imagine my amazement when the next day, 2 Workmates appeared on my doorstep. Service above and beyond!
