Great service!

I’m not saying they did a bad job. It just took a lot longer than expected with shipping and everything. Which is fine, I was just really bummed by the drastic price drop as well. They gave me a quote for $71 of stuff and they dropped it down to like $38, which I found pretty insulting. I’m not saying they didn’t handle the package well or anything like that, they did fine. But there is a surprising lack of communication on their part, and you really don’t know when you’re going to get an email from them. They don’t even let you know what the final price is going to be before they send you money. I went through the PayPal route, which was fine but I didn’t even get a chance to really dispute how I felt about $71 being replaced with like barely even $40 of material and items! And I even gave them huge box sets of DVDs of full seasons worth of television shows, and still they couldn’t even bother to give me 1/3 of the original quote. I was just kind of insulted. When I went through another company called Decluttr, there was a lot more transparency working through them, but not much more, they did send me an email saying if I was satisfied with the price, as Eagle Saver didn’t whatsoever, and didn’t even bother to tell me how drastically the quote was gonna be reduced. I’m not saying they’re a bad company but at least Decluttr stayed true to their original price offering. I’m not saying Eagle Saver did a bad job in anyway, but I did not appreciate the drastic price drop with no notification or email about it whatsoever and just putting money into my account without even negotiating with me. Probably not even going to use them again just because of this, but I’m not saying that they did a bad job handling my stuff. I just would given them a much better review but I have to be honest. I’m really kind of pissed that they weren’t even close to the quote that they originally offered. Go with Declutter, at lease they’ll stay true to their original quotes, and won’t cut so much off of the price that you feel like you’re being robbed.

They 'rejected' the 5 DVDs with the highest price quote in my order (along with about a dozen others). They claim they were in unacceptable condition, but all of the DVDs I sent were clean and played fine. Their minimums are ridiculous. Will not use their services again.
