Wanted the Fluke 1664 and checked around for prices. Always sceptical about purchasing from a company I am not familiar with but checked their reviews and and paid by Paypal. The price was unbeatable and offered a multi meter as a free gift. A generous purchase in comparison to others. Delivery was spot on - no dramas. Would definitely recommend.

Speedy delivery of the Socket & See sok36 tester, very happy. I believe the previous occupants had workers that mistakenly put the wrong coloured wires on an extension socket, but they must have kept polarity correct from the other end, as an electrician looking for an earth fault had put a sok36 on since recently with no problem. However, the consumer unit was later swapped out fully by another professional, the new guy must have pulled the old lines out of the CU without looking closely as it was all getting done anyway then put them back in the correct way on all, result being this one overlooked extension running to the freezer had reversed polarity. Only discovered 2 days later as the freezer had packed in, though that was probably it's age and the heat wave, it's still not safe to leave a socket with live / neutral reversed. Anyway, a long story no one will read - it was time I had my own proper socket tester, I don't want to go back to having to pull off lots of faceplates in a house to check for muppetry :o)
