They help you market yourself to potential employers even when you are still training. I like how they truly care about how you are promoting your knowledge and education you are pursuing. I was in the middle of some training videos and they messaged me about mentioning that I was in training (and how to do that professionally) on my LinkedIn profile which was awesome because it improves my marketability!

Honestly, trust the process and trust your mentors. 1 month after the completion date I was able to land a job as a Network Administrator for the biggest hospital chain in south texas! With the knowledge gained from NGT I have a broad understanding of my day to day and I couldn’t be happier with my experience

DO NOT go by the Trustpilot reviews. Most of them are created from fake emails that have a SINGLE review ONLY. I decided to take their course last cohort after reading about them but I believe you can get a lot more value by doing other relevant courses that have actual market value/recognition. I would totally suggest you to avoid this platform and investing the kind of time or money. The biggest problem is lower standards of course instructors and terrible support staff. If this is what I wanted, I would rather do a self-paced program from Coursera/Udemy

Pros: NexgenT claimed that if you complete their program, put in the work, you will most likely a job in the field of cyber security. In my experience, that was mostly true. I was able to pass my security + exam, and in just under 4 months of job searching, landed a entry level role in cyber security. I am extremely happy for this. The individuals in the career success department of NexgenT really went out of their way to help me and spent hours assisting me with finding jobs, writing resumes, cover letters, and interview prep. Without them, I would definitely not be where I am today, breaking into this field. Cons: The downside to this program (and their claims) is that even with a security + certification, breaking into the field of cyber security is immensely difficult, even with experience (I have none). It will takes months of job hunting. The program went through a few instructors during my program and we were not regularly informed about what was going on. In terms of the prep, I did not feel that what was offered truly readied me to enter this competitive field. I heard they are changing the program and updating it to include many more aspects that should help future students, but I cannot speak to that because I am unaware. I am rating this a 4/5 because without NexgenT I would still be stuck at my old job. Now I am ready to start my new career.

NGT Academy provides a great program that gives you the foundational knowledge to build upon to become an SME in Cyber Security and Network Engineering. With great instructors and career services they give you the tools you'll need to become job ready to excel in the industry!
