The customer service was outstanding - I hadn't used Corexcel before, and was quickly given all the information I needed to be able to deliver a project involving their tools when I contacted customer services.

I am really enjoying my experience …

I am really enjoying my experience taking Corexcel's Medical Terminology. The only reason why I picked 4 instead of 5 stars is because I recently found out that the program has been skipping sections of the chapter. I picked up on it first when I was having some trouble with some of the study materials such as the crossword and practice test in the Cardiology chapter. Normally, I will transfer the notes into a word document for future reference and when I was searching for answers, they weren't in my notes. I realized I missed many sections of the reading. Then, I noticed another part was skipped in the Immune System chapter. From now on, I have to be careful this doesn't happen again, and I'm not sure why it's happening. Also, the videos are very helpful, especially the ones of the woman explaining extra information, but I don't know why certain topics aren't discussed in the reading as well. I can take notes from the transcript, but if its important enough to talk about in the video, it should be important enough to mention in text (i.e. Chapter 5 Components and Functions of Blood video about albumin, globulins, fibrinogen, prothrombin, etc.)

In my experience

In my experience, the website was difficult to use and was often down or slow. Sometimes I would have to switch browsers mid session because the site would start to move really slow, or wouldn't open assignments all together. The class layout was confusing to me as well, and it just was not clear what I had to do, how things worked, or where to turn in assignments. I am relatively tech savvy so I was hesitant in contacting help, but a huge positive was the employee who I interacted with via e-mail- Marilyd Santana. She was exceptionally helpful and responded very quickly to all of my e-mails.

I thought this was a very good course

I thought this was a very good course. It was more in depth than I expected which was a good thing. The staff that I interacted with was knowledgeable and nice! I will use Corexcel for future courses.
