I had spent some time looking for a hairdryer stand to help recovery of a rotator cuff injury and got completely baffled with the massive selection and price difference on Amazon. I went to the Essential Aids website and opted for the one model they supplied. The item arrived very promptly and was easy to assemble. The counterweight base of the stand is only just heavy enough for my GHD hairdryer which admittedly is on the heavy side (about 820gms) with the stand at its lowest height setting. It does the job though providing I don’t accidentally knock it in use.

The black watch blue badge cover very attractive and I like that it's fabric not plastic however have lobbed off one star because the plastic interior had some scratches and blue badge part had noticeable dent or crease in the middle, so not completely smooth. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
