Highly Recommended!!
I'm a huge fan of Social Self and HIGHLY recommend it! I consider it an excellent investment and the programs have been the most impactful I have seen in decades. A few things I like: -The Content (most important!!!): fresh *NEW* ideas and perspectives that work and make sense, succinct delivery (this is hugely important to me), high-value teaching that works and feels good/comfortable, with VERY little fluff (I despise fluff). For me - genuinely life changing. I learned more in my first course, Fast Friend Protocal, than I have learned in the past 20-25 years (mid-forties now and this area has always been a bit of a struggle). The Company: I was very paranoid making my first purchase given all the scams and nonsense out there nowadays. However the paranoia was totally unfounded here. The content came instantly, the layout is clear, the portal is simple to navigate, and the technology is good. There was one point where I did hit a snag, and the SS team was super responsive, friendly, and helpful - another great plus I value but find increasingly rare these days. -The Community: I can think of very few places that actually have a good Community- and I feel this one does (which I wasn't expecting). There are podcasts with superb material (which supports the overall investment), and Community calls to help get everyone engaged. The team are very responsive, individually encouraging, and supportive which I feel is awesome 👌 I started by joining the email list and seeing the free "Masterclass" which I really liked. I then bought Fast Friend Protocol and Loved it. I've since invested in a number of the other courses/packages as I truly feel the value is there. Overall I feel this company does everything right.

The best social anxiety app
I have always struggled with social anxiety. It has felt crippling to me, like a hidden disability. Social events, and even 'normal' conversations have been a nightmare, and filled me with dread. Then I discovered SocialSelf and it seemed like the right fit for me, personal, with video footage and actual conversations, and it didn't cost the earth. I bought 'Awkward to Awesome' and started to put the techniques into practice. And they worked-I had the most fun in a conversation that I had ever had. Then the App came along and it has been great too, with the challenges, and the coaches being interested in me personally, and realising that there are so many people out there who struggle socially. The app is great for accountability and keeping me on course. I would highly recommend Social Pro to anyone struggling with anxieties in social situations.
I am totally satisfied
I am totally satisfied! I go with a really slow pace in the course and I'm totally not taking out the maximum of it, but still it gave me so precious tips, tricks and new insights that my social anxiety faded a lot and I enjoy being with strangers and don't stress at all on what to tell them.
SocialSelf was the best investment I…
SocialSelf was the best investment I made in my entire life. Three years ago, I was depressed, lonely, and addicted to marijuana. The skills I learned with social self helped me not only manage my social anxiety or teach me how to hold a conversation, it taught me how to develop meaningful conversations for my life, with SocialSelf as my foundation, followed by Toastmasters and the National Speakers Association. I went from Social Anxiety to Public Speaking in a matter of 3 years. It's helped me not only gain social skills but it helped me heal a lot of my past. I recommend it.
Loved this course
Loved this course! It gave me a whole new understanding of confidence
Best investment I've made in my life
I always had a had a problem saying something is the best as I always found imperfections. But in all honesty, this is the BEST decision I've ever made in my life. If you get communication right, basically most of the doors of life have been open to you. After all, we are social creatures who evolved to survive and thrive in communities. I've always been extremely socially anxious and clueless in conversations. I wouldn't say I'm perfect and there yet, but I experienced some mind blowing material that then tested in real life and saw how it actually works. I was almost at tears at some point... "Is it really possible that even someone like me with Asperger's syndrome can succeed?" Absolutely. It will just be a bit harder for me. I have so much appreciation for the effort put in creating the course, especially showcasing the material through real life conversation demonstrations on camera from some lunch meeting David organized. I also like how at the end he doesn't give up and that "it's all done". He really emphasizes the importance of setting up a daily system - constantly taking small easy steps (with a certain method) to keep growing without even noticing. I am leaving this course with high expectations, will obviously review the material more times (took notes). This is serious stuff every child, especially young teenagers should go through. I wish I had this course 11 years ago when my social anxiety and fear of communication has started. Communication is so important, and I'll end it with a quote that has been going with me when I first laid my hands on it: "The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is now." Thanks David and all the awesome team that worked on this course!
Excellent service, a bit pricey but you get out what you put in
I first heard about Socialself through an Instagram ad, and like most things on there my first thought was "Total scam". But after reading up on it, hearing so many positive testimonials, and watching a free introductory masterclass, I decided to sign up for the "Invisible to Interesting" course. The courses themselves have been incredibly insightful and have helped me build confidence when speaking to people. The real value comes from the community features, which I dismissed at first but quickly realised my mistake. There are frequent community calls with the Socialself team where you can chat to other people going through the same courses as you, weekly challenges to help push you out of your comfort zone, and forums for people to share info and discuss elements of the courses. I love how personalised this is as well - the community managers are so friendly and treat you like a real person rather than just a customer. I can definitely see how it can be seen as overpriced, but if you engage with it you'll quickly see how worth it the programme truly is. Highly recommended.
My (Chris) experience
Look. Socialising can be really hard if your like me. U don't just buy a course here. U literally join a community. The guys who run it r super genuine and always trying to help u. There's regular group calls where they continue to teach and guide u. Your always welcome to ask questions. There's a real passion here from the whole gang and they honestly care about you and your journey.
Excellent customer service
I originally had problems with the site, but this was due to the servers running slowly on that particular day. Those issues are now fully resolved. I haven't got far into my current course yet so I can't comment on the lessons themselves, but what I can say is that the customer service there is excellent - they have not fallen into the trap of expanding too much too soon, so when there is an issue, support does reach out personally and sorts the problem. This is something much more well-known companies don't even bother to do, so I was impressed! In addition, if you do decide to try a course and it does not work out for you, so long as you apply for your refund within the stated time, there is no issue with it - it comes very quickly too. In other words it really is risk-free. An extra nice touch: you can change to a different course if the current one doesn't suit.
SocialSelf - Still early in the process, but getting results
I'm still very early in the process here and need to get deeper into the courses, but with the little I have managed to get through, some community calls and challenges and the encouragement at every step from Molly, I have already become more relaxed about speaking to others and have had more luck with more effortless conversations than before. I still have a fair bit to learn and I still sometimes blank on things to say (haven't gotten to that part of the course quite yet), but what I have already experienced have helped me shift my mindset enough to see a difference. I'm hoping along the way to get better at signalling that I'm open to talking. I have often been in my own world instead, so it may not be as apparent as I would hope, and people are busy so many don't have time to talk after classes anyway. Looking forward to improve myself even more!
