We bought a garden table and chairs…
We bought a garden table and chairs from Garden Street as they had the best online price for the item. Delivery was as scheduled and the driver was very helpful in getting the loaded pallet as close as possible to where we needed it. Very happy with the service and item bought.
No problems or hitches

If I could rate zero stars I would
If I could rate zero stars I would. Placed an order for an item over £1000. 9 days after the order I called requesting an update on delivery and told they would get back to us. By day 14 we had had no reply so emailed, again nothing. Called on day 17 and was told their supplier was no longer able to honour the sale. Apart from the lack of in house management of the sale and supply, if I had not chased Garden Street we would have been none the wiser for some time yet
I purchased a garden shed from this…
I purchased a garden shed from this company there were lots of problems with it I had to buy extra wood to replace broken pieces bent wood split wood I had to continue with the build as the workman could only do it that day . I contacted the company they said they would only send me out spare parts which I didn’t want they have offered me a refund if I take it down which I can’t do being a disabled pensioner and also I have already paid someone to build this one so I can’t afford to pay again so just be warned quality is rubbish.

Great company to deal with?
Great company to deal with. The prices are very reasonable. We ordered a aluminium seating set with an adjustable table, the seats were very well made and comfortable. The table came damaged, however, the sales team were very efficient at getting me a full replacement table. They were always extremely polite and respectful. It did take a while to come. However, I could have used the faulty table until the replacement came. I would use this company again. Thank you for all your help.
Purchased a c£500 shed
Purchased a c£500 shed. Absolutely shocking build quality. Spent half a day rebuilding the panels and had to add extra strength supports. Genuinely not impressed at all.
Garbage Garden Bench
Very poor quality Item sold to me, not once, not twice, but three times. On the 14th of April I saw on Garden Street's website a garden bench from the company Charles Taylor, I had a 2 seater from them before (Charles Taylor I mean) and had it 6 years it still looks exactly the same as it did when I bought it, however I just fancied a 3 seater and this one was on sale, bargain, excellent I thought. Boy oh boy was I wrong. It arrived chipped, the stain was disgusting every slat a different colour with one side of the bench lighter than the other, bits in between where no stain at all had been put there were cracks and splits on the legs and when you sat on it all it did was squeak, it was hilarious actually as anyone who sat on it at my request nearly jumped out of their skin. Listen it's not the end of the world although I had tipped the delivery guy 10 quid that pissed me off as it was a waste of money, as I said it's not the end of the world as I said to the Garden Street who sold me it and let it be known they were excellent with me, great customer service and cannot fault them. They said they would get in touch with Charles Taylor to arrange an exchange, they did and it took almost 4 weeks that irritated me btw. So here comes the new bench once again I tip the guy he lifted it with one hand like it was made of balsa wood spun it around then and put it in my matchbox of a garden, I offered to help but he didn't need it, obviously. OMG I couldn't believe my eyes as it was as dark as hell and again as patchy as hell full of streaks, areas not touched in between the slats, and again full of half in half out knots of wood, some splits and cracking on the arm rest, quite obvious too and would you believe it, it squeaked again in exactly the same place, I was told that the 3rd and 4th slats were too close to each other on this one and on the previous one. A coincidence?. I think not. Ugh, I was so mad I can't tell you.. I wrote to Garden Street and to Charles Taylor, Garden Street were excellent full of apologies kind and well mannered, however I cannot say the same for Charles Taylor. My conversations with them of which were many were with the head of Accounting ( I Know) Lewis was rather rude condescending and rather patronising told me this had never happened to them before and made me feel like it was my fault. So I was the only person in the world that this had happened to, getting a bench with the same issues twice, I don't believe it and I told him. He really should re take his customer service exam, that's all I'm going to say although trust me I could elaborate on his poor attitude and customer service. Any way long story short, I garden Street and Charles Taylor agreed that they would resend a third bench this time however without stain at my own risk and it would no longer be under guarantee against rot, some nerve ah considering the precious 2 were as patchy as hell with place not even seeing stain at all. So I waited patiently again 3 weeks for a replacement and it came un stained the morning of my hols I gave it a glance tipped they dude and left actually the same time as the delivery guy. Got back to the UK three weeks later and had forgotten about the bench tbh buy couldn't wait to check it out as I had purchased a new stain at the cost of 45 quid. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I'am once again, 2 chips in the legs, the wood is split on the arms, (4 different splits) its as rough as hell in places,, the slats are not even or smooth or flush, not all of them but at least 4 of them are not flush, but there are no squeaks this time, however there were 3 very large nails sticking out (an inch and a half) of the back of this bench that could have tore my skin open had I not been vigilant. I have all the pictures in the world if anyone wants to see them. I wrote to Garden Street who once again were excellent and full of apologies, however when I wrote to Lewis (head of accounting) with the pictures of the almost 2 inch nails sticking out the back of the bench but he told me to write to garden street as I had purchased it there, ( I Know) no shame at all just a bad attitude and poor customer service, wouldn't y'all die of shame had you sent this to a customer, I had asked him in 4 previous emails for the email address of the managing director as I'm sure he would like to know what's going on in his company but to this day he never passed it on. I felt so bad for Garden Street who are relatively small company that I didn't bother to return this bench, what I did do was pay a guy who filled the holes took out the knots sanded the lumps and bumps, stained it a lovely light grey then glossed it at a cost of 145 quid. Oh and of course took out the nails. I cannot understand what has happened to Charles Taylor because 6 years ago I met a guy really nice charming in a shopping mall who sold me one of the best benches on the market, I bought a cover and a foot stool too as he was such a nice chap.
