This company arranged a 2 year electric…

This company / my trusted account manager arranged a 2 year electric contract for me and it ends April '24 .....no complaints. The broker , my trusted account manager phoned me 1st June '23 to sign up to a new 4 year contract , which I did . Unfortunately my trusted account manager didn't tell me that there was no cooling off period and 2 very important points were not mentioned regarding the Blend and Extend product which was included within the 4 year contract . The standing charge of £2.17 a day would not be reduced if the kwh costs were reduced and also I had to be in contract for 12 months before the Blend and Extend product would come into operation , the new electric company I signed up to told me this on the 2nd June. My trusted account manager and the new contract company refused to terminate the contract due to misrepresentation by my account manager so did the Ombudsman. Even the Green energy advice bureau customer complaints told me in an email that my trusted account manager will be given additional training. Have Googled Blend and Extend and it says ....more suitable for a business that uses 100,000 kwh per annum , my business uses 10,500 kwh per annum. My trusted account manager received a £2,071 payment for this signed contract and stabbed me in the back just for his financial gain . Every winter now for the next 4 years I will have to close down my micro accommodation business , Ogwen valley Bunkhouse because I cannot afford to heat the Bunkhouse.
