Pushy cold callers who lie

This company cold called me from a review I left on Trustpilot. I know this as she told me she’d seen my review and they called my husbands office, where I am director, however I work from home and don’t even know the office number myself. Perhaps they googled me to find details? Anyway, I did not contact them, they contacted me. I was then told they are a company that investigated issues with energy suppliers and try and help resolve them. I made it crystal clear what the problem was (another supplier was refusing to release me) and that several brokers were trying to get it done to move over to my chosen supplier that I had already signed with. She still wanted to try and help. I said that was up to her but it was pointless. I received several calls from her over a week, none of which were helpful and just time wasting. She then informed me my supplier had released me and I should have an email. No email. She rang again the following morning and said they’d released me and I’d have an email. No email. Shortly after I got a call from her colleague who could guarantee me a rate of 40pkw or less which I argued he couldn’t based on my business type and short lifespan of the business effecting credit checks but if he could guarantee me that price in writing I’d look into it. I reiterated I’d already signed with someone else and still hadn’t been released. He then said it would be by 12 o’clock that night. I explained how frustrated I was at spending hours talking to them and getting nowhere and I just wanted to sort my energy supply out with my chosen company (not them). He then said he’d ring me in a week to discuss as he could hear my frustration. Less then 60 seconds later a third colleague rang and had the audacity to say to me “we’ve spent a lot of time on this. We’re not a charity, we’re a business”. At this point it became laughable. THEY cold called ME. I told them NOT to help as I had other brokers dealing with it. THEY insisted they could help so I said they could if they wanted to despite advising them it was pointless. I fully disclosed I had already signed with someone else. Yet they accuse me I wasting their time? I have several commercial and private properties and I will never use this company based solely on the forceful tactics and lies from the staff.

Great Team

Our contact, James, at Green Energy is always there to listen and help out, taking the hassle out of energy supply and renewals Recently they have helped us out of a jam trying to organise a gas supply upgrade whilst changing suppliers. Jo has taken this on and managed to organise this for us, and the utility workers even kept to schedule! We couldn't be happier with the service from the team.

Good service, knowledgeable staff.

We were approached by the GEAB and offered assistance with the renewal of our gas and electricity contracts. The staff were very helpful and we took advantage of the favourable rates on offer and signed a three year contract.
