Purchased the manual log splitter - with the drop weight and have found it to be very efficient. Although I have an excellent splitting axe, I find the splitter to be effective and not so strenuous to use and can get through logs that I would not be able to axe very easily. It is also perhaps somewhat safer!

Excellent service . I needed to clarify a few things regarding the electric chipper, the staff where very helpful and answered my questions.

FM6DD..This is a great little machine. If you were of the impression that bigger is better then this little wood chipper is the exception to the rule. The most obvious benefit from it being so small is that you have to be able to store it and move it. It is a dream to use compared to those huge, heavy ones with a top hopper and side chute, which clog up because they just dump the chippings straight down in front of them rendering themselves either useless or a complete pain in the backside to use. If you were wondering if 6hp is powerful enough, then let me tell you, yes it is (and it is actually 6.5hp). It drags the branches through effortlessly and chips them really nicely. A couple of tips if you decide to buy one. Ask Forrest Master about the socket for loosening and adjusting the blades. The bolt heads have to be made shallow to enable the drum to spin without fouling. A normal socket from your tool kit has a chamfer for the first couple of mm and this will cause you to round the edges off the bolt heads. If this does happen, you can get replacements from them and I can confirm that their customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The unit doesn't come with oil (to prevent any spillage from shipping), but it doesn't take much to fill it. I gave them a quick call for advice on oil and again, they were very helpful. All in all, I am very happy indeed with every aspect of my purchase. Don't be fooled by its size, it's absolutely brilliant. Well made and performs efficiently. Best piece of garden machinery I've ever purchased!

Great buying experience, very helpful when called to get advice. Decided to go with the manual 10 ton log splitter, arrived the day after order as per their website. Easy to assemble, works really well, splits both large and small logs with little effort either using in horzontal and vertical positions. Great product and certainly achieves the suppliers description.

Very powerful. Well packed but did need some assembly. Very powerful and therefore requires a good extension lead. A reverse feature would be good. Very good build quality. Prompt efficient delivery.

Blade arrived very promptly. Though it wasn't quite a straight swap. Needed a bit of jiggery pokery to get it to fit. Haven't tried it out in anger yet. Weather too poor and ground too wet.

First class service, arrived next day as stated. The chipper itself is absolutely awesome, much better than I anticipated it would be - it eats 2" branches for breakfast!

Superb service from Forest Master. Always obliging and act right away. It’s nice that some companies still give good old fashioned service. I would highly recommend them and their products are good.

Part despatched promptly.

Very disappointed to discover that the goods were secondhand on arrival. The capacitor was covered in grime from when it had been removed from a motor. Nothing on the website to suggest the goods would be secondhand. Will be returning for a refund.
