Had a Frontier X for years, just got an X2

I have had a Frontier X for several years, and recently upgraded to a Frontier X2 so I have a second one for travelling. This is a great product. In particular I find the "heart strain" metric very useful. I use this to push myself harder when I'm feeling healthy, particularly when I was running regularly. The Frontier X's heart strain reading was was my main metric during my recovery from long covid over 7 months. I learned that if I pushed myself too hard, I could get a couple of weird symptoms, but as long as I kept my heart strain below a particular threshold (0.08 in my case), I could safely exercise. Without this, I likely would have been afraid to exercise at all, which would have prolonged the recovery period. Not a lot of difference between the Frontier X and the Frontier X2. A bit faster data transfer, but the same reliable information, presented in an easy to read format. I rely on my Frontier X, and it's been a great product. I highly recommend this.

Purchased the device on a whim

Purchased the device on a whim, I have used other heart rate devices before but none with real time ECG. Thus far I have been super impressed with the fidelity of the data as a medical professional who works with ECG I have found it very interesting to go through my workouts and looks at how my data changes depending on the conditions. I have had no issues and been extremely happy with the purchse

This was a great experience

This was a great experience. First the person spoke flawless English. She is also from the same town that I grew up in. Quite experienced. Solved my problem immediately. Also offered to send me the USB cover that I lost. I think that this company is going to go places. Great Device - Terrible Engineering

I love my Frontier monitor most of the time. But it easily becomes detached during even a light workout. I spent a few hours yesterday searching for it after it became detached while doing some chores around the yard. It's now really banged up with a lot of scratches. Also, the micro-usb charging process is very vulnerable to damage from dirt, sweat, or water. The flimsy plastic cap is easily lost when it's removed for charging. 99.9999% of the engineering effort went into the electronics and the remainder went into making sure the unit stays attached and charged. My advice, wait for the next version. Maybe FF will fix these glaring design issues. In the meantime, I've got a banged up unit that I'll sell - cheap.

My 4th and best heart rate monitor I have tried

I love having access to my heart health, especially knowing heart disease does exist in my family history. The onboarding call is so cool to help answer any questions and understand how to maximize the benefits of the product. I also love the recommendations on how to improve on previous workouts. $500 isn't cheap, but I feel it's well worth the price, highly recommend.

Almost 50, Fourth Frontier is exceptional to monitor to heart health

I have owned this monitor for about a year and nothing out gives the data fourth frontier does. The information provided is good intel for your cardiologist and allows you to closely monitor how your heart is functioning. Great product for healthspan!

A few months after... a follow up review

I've been using Frontier x2 for a couple of months now. Been using it in all types of activities... even during sleep. Juat an awesome device to have. It helps guide me on how to approach my daily training. Online staff is quick to respond to any inquiries. Very helpful indeed.
