best customer service EVER!

As it turns out, I am not going to be able to use the device the way I had hoped (to alert me if I go into AFib). Also, because I have a pacemaker, the heart strain function will not work for me. Not knowing why the device was freaking beeping all the time, I reached out to customer service and got EXCELLENT service and responsiveness. One of the founding physicians of this company got on the phone to explain things to me said that down the road, they may engineer the device to be able to do that, just not now. Best customer service ever!!!!

I love this device and all of its…

I love this device and all of its features, especially the heart rate variability data. This allows me to monitor my high stress workouts. The support for the device is great, very responsive.

My Fourth Frontier is mainly used to…

My Fourth Frontier is mainly used to record my heart problems. Last year, I emailed some ecg results to my Cardiologist as I was having approximately 1500 extra beats per day and episodes of multiple extra beats as I thought. Based on what he saw, he changed my medication to reduce my extra beats to a more managable level. He also confermed that I had AF again, I had two ablation operations 9 years ago. Having a Fourth Frontier means if i'm feeling unwell I can check what is happening in real time, as I can see live data on the smart phone app. I can also get a full 24hour recording if needed and as I have done before, email it to my Doctor/Cardiologist. Cost wise it is equal to my Omron ecg monitor. But for use it is much better, as you can record for as long as you want or the battery lasts, the Omron can only do 30 seconds. Looking at my ECG's I can even tell if the extra beat comes from the top or bottom chambers of the heart. I've never been to a hospital appointment before where the cardiologist knew what he was going to do before I even entered the room, thanks to the Fourth Frontier ECG's I had sent him previously. Overall an excellent piece of equipment, compatable price wise with some medical grade ECG equipment, but so much easier to use especially for irregular heart beats.

Outstanding !

Great product. Have just upgraded from the X to X2. The customer service is amazing. Questions are answered in a timely fashion. (Thanks Pavan!) I use mine primarily on a mtb and fat bike in the winter w the occasional gravel and road ride thrown in. Excellent information provided as well as extremely useful and functional app. I would recommend to anyone.

Frontier X helped me get a quick diagnosis

Frontier X allowed me to track Atrial Flutter that was occurring many times daily, but never in the doctor's office. My primary referred me to a cardiologist (again, normal EKG in office) and I was able to show him multiple EKG's from the Frontier X documenting rapid heart rate. He scheduled a stress test, multiple arrythmias were observed, and I'm scheduled for an ablation procedure next week. I probably would've dismissed the palpitations if I hadn't had the reports from Frontier X to show my doctor. I look forward to using it as I begin my recovery from the ablation.

Very responsive tech support. Emailed me back with detailed instructions, so none of this back and forth. The person responding knew their product.

FFX2 - High End - High Spec πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Despite being 60+ with no known health issues, I am a self confessed tech and data junky. I have been collecting BP, HR & HRV stats data flawlessly with Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, Omron & Emfit devices for some 5 years whilst road cycling and taking morning readings using a couple of iPhone apps. The FFX2 takes this to a new level when it comes to HR straps with ECG capability. The device only has Bluetooth, but it can connect to 3 separate devices at the same time and it records internally, so you could stretch that to four simultaneous recordings! I know, Why? On my turbo it's connected to my head unit, laptop and the iPhone app. I have had a few teething issues which mainly stem from this device requiring triggering rather than the others which are simply strap on and forget, so I have missed a couple of recordings to my Edge 1030 as the FFX2 shuts down after a while when disconnected from a device. The website and iPhone app seem well laid out and are easy to navigate and use. More flexility with editing recordings and maybe downloading, offline editing and uploading again would be welcome, but probably beyond most peoples requirements. I have had a few dealings with various levels of support (I cannot get enough data) and all have been great. Having previously worked in IT for many years, I would have to say they are probably the best I have come across - and believe me I have come across many. Highly recommend this product, I won't be without one, not cheap, but worth it.

Done with Polar products and decided to give FFX2 a shot

I decided to take the plunge and get this piece of new technology. The Polar product (H10) had a lot of problems particularly with syncing - I spent anywhere between 15-25mins trying to get this to work before I played my sport oftentimes to no avail. Already bought two of them with straps which comes up to the half the price of the X2. The FFX2 has been superb. Support (Sneha) has been absolutely wonderful. I have the potential for SVTs which hopefully the latest attempt at stopping them (May 8th) will prove fruitful. I'm looking forward to interacting with the technical folks regarding details of my ECG signals. As I am ramping up my training and using the FFX2 as a guide to my progress, I am going to sign up for at least 2 months of tech support to go over data details during my workout sessions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. If you have cardiac challenges - this is the product to get.

Exceptional piece of equipment

I was advised to use the Fourth Frontier heart monitor from the hospital as I had collapsed whilst I was training for no reason. So I used the monitor during any exercise. The readings were sent to the hospital and reviewed by the doctors. However, I was able to review the data myself via the app. It was excetionally easy to use and review. I was able to program it to alert me if I was outside my typical heart rate or if I had irregular beats. The service from team also was above and beyond. They emailed me if they noticed I hadnt trained for a while to check everything was ok. Would definaltely recommed this product and company to anyone without a doubt. Thanks Fourth Frontier.
