Extremely poor customer service service communication overall! AVOID this company to save yourself some grief. First time buyer in 2021, went with RG on recommendation from a family member. At the time I worked with a gentleman named Bradley Banks (Stamford House, Piccadilly, York) although the service was not the best due to poor communication around delays, I chose not to complain as I simply did not wish to work with RG Law any further and end our relationship as soon as possible. Since then, I had no correspondence until a Janet Belcher (post completions assistant) emailed in September 22 advising there were some original documents to be sent to me and requesting an address to send to. I responded asking for the documents to be sent to the address in the subject line of the email, on the docs and wrote it in the email. It was confirmed they had been sent buy after a month of not receiving them I contacted again only to conclude these documents had been sent to my previous address as she "did not see" a note to send it to the property I purchased over a year ago and as detailed in my response. I was told that nothing could be done bar me going to my old property to ask any new tenants if they had my documents and the original documents were then emailed to me as a PDF. I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction with this response due to RG Laws employees' error and requested to make a complaint. I was informed my information had been shared and I should hear from someone but again did not! Only to have to chase this again and then get an email some days later from a Tina Khanna with the complaints policy. I took the time and expense to travel to my old property and was advised by the tenants that there were no documents for me from September but that there had been new letters delivered in November 22 from a bank. It appears someone had used my details to take out a loan in my name under my old address. I have never been a victim of fraud before and all of my personal details which were accurate had been used including my date of birth and my full name which I do not widely share. All of this information was on the documents shared to me by Janet and I believe the documents were obtained by someone and have been used in this greatly inappropriate way. I had to pay further money to have the letters sent to me as I could not gain access to the property on the day I attended to obtain the letters. As a result of my interactions with RG LAW I have experienced unnecessary stress, worry, and expense over the past few months not knowing who now has original documents of my property and now being a victim of fraud following the loss of these documents when I clearly provided the address for this information go be sent to. I would appreciate if the directors of the firm or someone with any sense of accountability could contact me regarding this complaint urgently. I have already emailed the experience email address twice but have heard nothing back and it has been over a week and outside the timeframe of response as stated in the complaints policy. I thought I was done with this company but the grief continues. Update - 4hrs after posting this and a google review, I have now had an email saying someone is looking into the matter.
