Useless
Not bought direct from them, but got a car from Fords of Winsford, who got it from Aston Barclay. ABA have conveniently lost the original V5C, so FOW issued me with a V62, which is usually fine, but guess what? - the car wasn't moved to "In Trade" Status, so the V62 could not be processed for me to put tax on it. The original owner is apparently dead, but that could be a convenient lie. FOW should've checked this too, but between them both, I have a car I can't legally drive. I've had to go down the really slow route now and send a V62 along with a V890 to DVLA, and will likely have to wait weeks for a bew V5C, that's if DVLA themselves don't lose the documents in the process, which they most often do. Talk about a f*** up!!!! It's all just about making that buck and to hell with the buyer if there is any problems afterwards.
AA reports are waste of time and money…
AA reports are waste of time and money not done as should be. As a customer you’re not supposed to deal with AA, you buy a vehicle from Aston Barclay that means they are fully responsible for condition of cars they dispose through their auction.
They're desperate to sale the cars even…
They're desperate to sale the cars even sending me emails asking me to pay £17,000 for a car I didn't bid for and I never get any invoice about the car Threatening to close my account plz go ahead 👍🏾 If you keep closing account of customers because they refused to pay for a car they didn't bid for then you're f ing out your mind 🤣

If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely shocking customer service and support. Purchased a car with the AA assured report with no faults. Car arrives and cannot even get off the transporter!! Half hour later after messing about a manager came and car was eventually pushed onto driveway. Told to put a claim in which was rejected by a AA mechanic even though you cannot select any gears and car is making a grinding noise. Dashboard has transmission fault on screen and engine light on but the AA assured people say it’s a temporary fault even though the car cannot move. Been quoted £3000 plus vat to have it repaired. Court proceedings will now follow. Shocking and a disgrace but luckily I have the time to go to court and persuade them for every penny I have spent. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS AND MAKE YOUR MIND UP BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING BUYING A CAR FROM THEM.
Purchase a car this week doesnt match…
Purchased a car this week doesnt match the aa report which i dont think has been carried out. please do not rely on these reports they are meaning less and do not show the truth, been trying resolve this matter best part of this week to no prevail Aston barclay have gone to putting the phone down now im now going take this matter to court and let the courts settle the dispute. just hoping they give me an address to send the summons too
absolutely shocking customer service at…
absolutely shocking customer service at westbury aston barclay brought a car 2 months, ago nad has not left the site, they said they are going to refund, still waiting. every time i ring them they say you need to speak to AA buyer warranty team
Where do i start
Where do i start, i think the review speak for themselves they were called WMS but due to there shocking practices they have rebranded. I am not even gonna bother to explain its been over 5 weeks. Clearly under staffed and untrained in dealing with human beings. Poor poor communication. It have been over 2 months now and still no refund they have our car which has not left the site since we brought the car.
I can also re-iterate so called AA…
I can also re-iterate so called AA "Green and clean" may aswell be called "made up and means nothing". Stated suspension fine and the cars completely sitting on one side. Another mentioned waranteed mileage and has not 1 yet 2 mileage discrepancies on hpi report. The last 5 cars I've purchased from here only 1 has actually been ok mechanically however they took out the remotes and headphones for the dvd entertainment system once sold. I knew they used to take the fuel and parcel shelves (not sure if its the chaps that clean them) but taking remotes and headphones now too!
AA assured report was all green meaning…
AA assured report was all green meaning car has no issues. Assurance report is a guarantee and supposed to compensate you if the vehicle has any mechanical issues within 48hrs. Also it should not be driven more then 250miles since leaving their premises. However if you breakdown or have any mechanical issue they will not compensate you. Even if AA come to inspect the broken down vehicle and clearly state in their report all the mechanical issues they will still not payout or take the vehicle back. Absolute scammers and no respect for the buyers. Stay away from Aston Barclay. I'm Sticking with BCA as their assured report is worth its money in gold. I've Had issues with vehicles purchased from BCA but they've always compensated or took the vehicle back within 9 days usually.
