Since my local council twinned the area with the moon, avoiding craters has gone from being challenging to impossible. So, one of my Pretoria 19" wheels rotated its last and needed to be replaced. VW would like a King's ransom for a new one and the various offerings on eBay etc., are of dubious provenance - perhaps. AlloyHub came to the rescue with a refurbished wheel, painted up in gloss black. After checking it out with my local wheel specialist, it passed A-OK and it's on the car. Just had my X3 alloys refurbished by the team at AlloyHub - a brilliant service and a fantastic finish. The before and after photos are startling. Alloys were suffering from filiform corrosion - common on diamond cut wheels. Took my car and left it with them for four days as I was not in a rush. The premises are secure and in the middle of no where away from prying eyes a big plus if you have a car towards the top end of the scale. (I have not) Time was taken to explain the process and range of colours, I went for gloss black with white star lacquer.
