The products I ordered were delivered very quickly, which was good, and exactly what I wanted. Each product comes with its own instruction sheet and fixing parts ( if needed). Everything was quite straightforward to install, except when it came to the actual door insulation. Double-sided sticky pads are supplied, but they didn't stick at all, they were completely useless. It does say in the instructions that if the weather is cold, the pads might not stick, and they certainly don't stick in the middle of winter, when you really want to insulate the door. I did some research and discovered an adhesive called "Sticks like S**t" Ultra. The ultra bit is important because the stuff has a very wide temperature range. I felt that was important because temps in winter get very low (-10°C this winter) and in summer, with the sun shining on the door it gets really hot (60°C + last summer). I used this stuff instead of the sticky pads and it worked very well. Time will tell if it works as well as I hope. Overall I am very pleased with the result. My garage is integral in our house and the room above the garage was always very cold in winter and too hot in summer. I hope the door insulation works as well as I hope. It's only been a day since I finished the project and the room feels warmer already.
