Efficiently Handling Complex Projects and Repairs

Advance Block Management are our new agents and currently assisting us with the Lift Replacement Works. Our previous agent didn't seem interested and wasn't sending the section 20 notice we needed to serve in order to start the works. There are 9 floors in our blocks, so can you imagine if the lifts aren't working! ! ! We have plenty funds to do the works so couldn't understand why they couldn't do it. Advance seem to be handling the project well so far and we are very happy.

Superb Service and Cost Savings with Advance

We are an RTM company with 5 directors and 60 members. A dedicated RTM specialist helped us with this process and we were about to go with their recommendation to appoint an agent, UNTILL one of the members thought to do their own due diligence and see what other companies were quoting. She managed to get in contact with Advance and not only were their fees 50% less, they also mentioned the service charge was highly inflated and managed to bring this down. Superb service.

Terrible Management Agency

Terrible Management Agency. Don't pick up the phone or respond to emails. They don't complete basic tasks that they should do. They don't even pay suppliers on time too. They don't follow up on any actions and take clients for granted. Epically frustrating and really bring the industry into disrepute.

Avoid at all costs

This is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of using. They don't acknowledge payment for months on end, don't have a clue when you call them and don't call you back to solve when they say they will. You have to fight to A) get a response and B) get confirmation of payment. The one thing they are good at is charging fees when they don't acknowledge your payment and therefore your account shows you owe money.. I cannot express enough how poorly this company is ran. This is a reply to your comment below - The whole point of my review is that you don't email back, or call back for that matter when you say you will. Just look at your reviews on here; they are all terrible and make a similar point (with a few obviously fake reviews sprinkled in for good measure). Absurd, 'company'.

Such a frustrating Company to work with. I reiterate the comments below, the response time is abysmal. Especially on urgent matters they will leave you vulnerable and waiting. Perhaps they ought to not take clients on should they not be able to service them properly.

Secured Crucial Grant and Enhanced Property Safety

We initially contracted Advance to assist us with Cladding issue on our block as our block was deemed dangerous. We had cladding in our block which if caught fire would go up in flames like Grenfell! We desperately needed assistance and found Advance from a recommendation. After our initial chat we knew they were the right choice for us. They managed to secure a £2 million pound grant to get the works completed. This was prompted by the manager, as we all thought this would have to be paid by the leaseholders. We are beyond grateful and happy for their proactive response to this desperate situation. Not only is our block now safe, it is has boosted the value of the apartments in our 250 unit block, we also decided to continue with our working relationship and are happy with Advance Block Management being our agents.

Renewed Agreement with Exceptional Management and Reporting

As we have just renewed our agreement today, I thought I would reach out to say that managers at Advance are very hard working and their reporting is very good too. They had so much on their plate to do when we signed them up as our agents. They organised the works outstanding as priority and Long Term works and then updated us on each item as we went along. Efficient Service Charge Management and Significant Savings

Our manager prepared a realistic service charge budget calculation and ensured all leaseholders were promptly paying. We have had a major cashflow problem before and were paying for too much!! Since Advance came on board they reduced the charges by 40% and managed to get all the debt in too. We now pay less and get more works done. We decided as Board to use the savings made and pump it in the reserve fund. Best decision we made.
