Attempted order glass your site

Attempted order glass your site. Not sure what it was doing, calculated the cost and when I went to check out the price rose from £260 to over £300 , could not understand why. I called to ask what was happening and to confirm lead time, was told 10 to 15 days and to try again. Put order in 4/5th August. Today I received email saying delivery 30th August. I had booked a flight on that date to take a short holiday!

The glass is fine and the prices are…

The glass is fine and the prices are good, but the customer service is not so good, and the paperwork with the delivery states a different company name to both the website used for ordering, and the name of the company referenced on the bank details when monies are paid from your bank account. We placed two separate orders for glass, the first arrived fine although there was a bit of a problem with communication which may have been down to my e-mails not arriving to my in-box. The second order not so good. I had called to give an alternative e-mail address and to ask about the second order we had placed. I was told that the glass was due for delivery on Thursday 21/08/2022 in the afternoon, but I received an e-mail saying that the van had broken down so the delivery was re-scheduled for the following Tuesday. Transport breakdowns happen so this was fine. I then received an e-mail on the Tuesday morning stating the delivery was due on Wednesday in the afternoon not the Tuesday as I had been informed. When I called to query this and ask why the previous weeks late deliveries had not been prioritised, I was told that the van is loaded in order of drop-offs, leaves the depot on the Tuesday and returns on the Thursday after all drops completed. The van driver who delivered the second delivery said that he had left the depot that morning, not the day before as the female in the office told me. The second delivery arrived at around 9.45am not in the afternoon as I had been informed, but the website states that the delivery driver will not offload, it is kerbside delivery only. How are you supposed to ensure someone able-bodied enough to carry the glass is available when the information given regarding delivery is incorrect? Both delivery drivers were fantastic, the second driver did offload for me and even asked where I wanted the glass, I can't fault either driver. The female in the office who I spoke to on the phone did say that they had just had a change of system in the office so this may have been the cause of the misinformation I received, but I do feel that arrangements for delivery could have been better.

I haven’t yet received the glass I’ve…

I haven’t yet received the glass I’ve ordered. Do I can’t really give a review. I can say that the process to order my glass was quick. I did read a couple of bad reviews, but a lot of good ones too. Do I’m hoping mine will be good. One concern I do have however is that I’ve been informed the courier will not actually unload the glass from his van. I have to do it. A bit odd if you ask me. Plus I have to check it before I sign for it. Well I’ve ordered 6 pieces so I hope the delivery guy can hang about. So I’m a little worried about that aspect. I’m extremely fussy so I hope everything is perfect. I guess I’ll be writing another review as soon as I receive my items. Fingers crossed

My order for 18 pieces of toughened 5mm glass was delivered in excellent time and the quality and measurements were exactly as l had hoped for. Also the delivery guy was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with on a very hot day.
