Dream Team

Have you ever wanted to travel through Italy with your best Italian friend and explore the places through the eyes of the locals? Visit the "secret spots" and feel that you are no longer a tourist, but a part of the family? Ciao Andiamo will provide you just that special feeling. Our first trip through the Amalfi Coast and Southern Italy with Max Brunelli and his amazing team was unforgettable. Professional, experienced, attentive to every need, fun, organized, and easy going, he quickly earned the title "magical Max." This was the perfect small group tour - 2 couples, where all we had to do is show up. From the time we arrived, each day was seamlessly organized, full of surprises, incredible journeys, AMAZING FOOD!, well orchestrated schedules, and provided good balance of personal time and guided excursions through the unique hidden treasures of Italy. Private cooking lessons, wine tastings, guided tours, secret beautiful spots for amazing photos... Off the beaten path is every way, and the best we could have imagined! We loved our experience so much that we returned the next year to explore the North of Italy with the exact same group who now became dear friends. We even had Ciao Andiamo help set up for us the most memorable engagement in a beautiful castle!!! The team created a magical experience of a lifetime, and they truly hold a special place in our heart. We can't recommend them enough! We still have a lot of Italy to explore, and will be back with Ciao Andiamo family again and again.

The trip of a lifetime!

Last year, I decided to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday by organizing a 25 day trip to Italy. This would be his first trip to Europe, and I wanted to make it special. While doing my research for the trip online, I stumbled upon the website for Ciao Andiamo and watched their videos and read all of their reviews. I was very impressed with everything I saw and read and decided to explore this boutique travel company further by giving them a call. Well, the Ciao Andiamo staff was beyond accommodating and immediately put me in contact with one of their owners, Jonathan Pollack (Jon), who worked with us personally to developed our customized trip itinerary. No detail was overlooked, and it was the trip of a lifetime! During the 25 days we were it Italy, we had private drivers and tour guides in every city. Our group tours while in Parma, Modena and Cinque Terre, were kept small (6-8 people). No huge group tours here! Maximiliano Brunelli (Max), the other owner on the Italy side of the company, was our tour guide, who was not only an expert in knowledge of the areas we visited, but also the most charismatic, accommodating and full of life host you could ever have. Max just knows his stuff and is a joy to be with! We were sorry to leave him behind when it was time to continue our trip to other parts of Italy. However, never fear because Ciao Andiamo had our trip completely under control. As we continued on our journey through Tuscany, touring Florence, San Gimignano and Lucca, wine tasting and culinary delights awaited us at every turn as our guide and driver made sure we didn't miss a thing. Next, our gorgeous high speed train ride from Milan to Naples opened the door to a part of Italy that is truly splendid: the Amalfi Coast. This is where we vowed to return to spend at least 10 days. After wine tasting and a fabulous lunch at a winery at the foothills of Mt Vesuvius and a tour of Pompeii, we were off to Rome. Our tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable, and we learned so many interesting details of the ancient Roman culture you could never learn on your own. Walking the warm streets of Rome at night and visiting the sparkling white Trevi Fountain, stopping for a gelato at a local shop - what could be better? A visit to Lake Como perhaps! Another high speed train ride brought us to our final destination, Lake Como up in the northern most mountains of Italy. Truly spectacular and very relaxing, touring the lake via private boat was amazing. While on our own, we even shopped in the charming town of Bellagio. Traveling and touring through Italy was a fantastic culinary adventure, a historical paradise and a complete joy that was due to the meticulous planning and follow through of the Ciao Andiamo team. When there was a question, they were just a phone call away and always so helpful and professional. If you are traveling to Italy for a week or several weeks, trust Ciao Andiamo to make your Italian experience one you will never forget. Thank you Jon, Max and the team! We love you ...

Piemonte

Max Brunelli and Ciao Andiamo provided one of the best boutique tour experiences we have ever had. His attitude and attention to the smallest detail truly made our time exploring the incredible Piemonte region a memory for a lifetime. I (and everyone in my group) will certainly use them again, and in the near future.
