We undertook the SIA door supervisor training at 1ACE training centre in Stratford in the 2nd week of January 2016. Our course trainer Roy was one of the best trainers I have ever had! He was very professional and very good and getting new facts across to me- although I had never done a course like this before and much of the skills were new ones. Using anecdotes from REAL LIFE situations really helped in learning and being absorbed by the course. Many tuturs and trainers just use written examples which is always hard to memorise but with the mixture of his actual experiences in real time mixed with his excellent delivery of the coursework throughout the 4 days. Although this course was obviously extremely intensive Roy made it thoroughly enjoyable at the same time and while bring a sense of fun and humour into the class- it was much easier to learn and be able to concentrate the exam part of the course near the end. I would recommend anyone wishing to engage themselves best into CP and SIA and other training skills- use Roy as he really has the knowledge, people skills and focus to deliver an overall enjoyable learning experience which would help ANY future student or client successfully complete their course or skills upgrade. MY NAME IS Godwin Osakue, I am one of the students in the last batch of DOOR SUPERVISION Training. It was a four day training course, but in a relaxed congenial environment. The teachers were outstanding in their teachings, thorough and explicit to understand. They were very strict in adhering to SIA REGULATIONS. I had a good time and new experiences. with the experience I gained working as a security guard for 8 years in a rehabilitation centre in Spain, I found the training very torough . The quality of the course material was very good and I really enjoyed the practical side of the course.
