Fantastic lovely shop and the planetarium is amazing so much better than I expected

I have bought a dobsonian 12 inch from them , wi fi and electric. It worked for 2 months then the engine stopped working. After a week of emailing and photos showing i am doing everything right they asked for my leeds and remote control for inspection. All of them pass the test...they said I have to change the motherboard....they war meant to send a new one over, after 3weeks nothing on the post ....called them and said they have to order it from China....so for 3 weeks not communication ...just when I called after 3 weeks they told me they don't have it Wait 2 more weeks for the part to come....and now the motor is not stopping ...is just turning until I powerit of. I will be asking for my money back

Had time now to set up and evaluate equipment. Celestron Spotting Scope and Barr and Stroud monoculars are excellent just as advised by RVO. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are not "pushy" at all and won't try to sell you something you don't need. Great experience shopping with them and I'll certainly be back! Thanks guys. PS Check out the video's they're great!

Absolutely first class service. Excellent advice on what equipment to buy obviously from experienced professionals. Regular updates on availability and delivery and excellent after sales service. Rother Valley Optics tick all the boxes in my opinion and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Rather poor customer service made an order at the start of the year with one item being on backorder. Called to find out the lead time and was told 2 weeks so placed my full order, after many emails and nearly 4 months later still don't have it. when requesting an update back in late Feb was told they'd find out and let me know shortly, apparently shortly means never. After chasing it up today was offered a refund for the missing item, Will be taking future business elsewhere from now on.
