Having read more reviews they suggest third party wedges are better but I will have to wait and see. I got caught out by the 1/4" adapter blocking the tripod socket. You-tube came to my rescue as always RTFM. I thought it odd that you couldn't remove the top cap on the polar scope once the vixen wedge was in place. I bought some fluorescent tape to illuminate the scope. Was interested too see that the control button can be programmed as you want. I don't have a solar scope yet so that can go. With the days lengthening I can't see much use until next year!
