I had a great experience at Online models. All the staff were professional & friendly helping me to feel relaxed. The make-up artist is so talented, the photography had great ideas with poses. The whole experience was fun, a great way to spend your day. My photos are stunning!

I naively signed a contract with Soho Studios who use Online Models - paying over £2,000 aimed at progressing my mature modelling career. The company prevaricated, offering no real help. Later they paid in 'compensation' for up to 3 representations. One, Prestige were scammers threatening me and demanding payment when I chose to cancel. Online Models despite allegedly paying, refused to liaise with Prestige! What have they got to hide? These are toxic disreputable agencies you should avoid at all costs!

I was originally contacted by Michelle, and we had a great chat in which she evaluated my suitability to becoming a model. I also send her a few pictures, so that she could see what I looked like on camera. I am pleased to say that she decided to put me forward, and we continued our exchange over a couple of days as she helped me on choosing outfits. She also gave me tips on performing in front of the camera. So come the day of the shoot, I was all ready, having taken on board all the advice she gave me. The shoot went well, and I passed with flying colours.

Everything on the day was excellent I give 100% to all my beautiful photos, the staff members was great to me as well make up artist on point!! I highly recommend if anyone is wondering!

I had a wonderful experience with Online Models. They have contacted me just a few days after applying, and during the call Richard explained to me( in details) the whole casting process and the job opportunities they can provide me with. Then he booked me in for a photo shoot at Soho Fashion Studios which was an absolute delight. Everyone there made me feel extremely welcomed, I felt really comfortable and looked after. Their designer created some amazing outfits for me and the hair and make up were brilliant. Sasha the photographer was absolutely amazing.

They patiently and carefully explained all it entails to becoming a successful model to me. My time with them was very interactive and helpful for someone like me with zero experience in the modelling world. All at no cost!

From the receptionist to the photographer. All the ladies I were amazing. I took 6 outfits with shoes . The stylist was amazing she picked 4 best clothes with the right shoes to match. The Make up artist was awesome- right shade and she loves her craft . The photographer was splendid, she gave me tips and she was very patient with me as well. Such a wonderful team. The pictures were amazing as well. A great way to build your portfolio.

Avoid. This is not a model agency, it’s selling you a photoshoot for which you will pay over the odd for. Thing is, Online models is simply a round-about-way of getting people into their photographic studio for a photoshoot which the resulting photos, YOU will have to buy from them. The assumption that they give you in their sales pitch, is that they are a model agency and will get you modelling work. They tell you what you will earn when you are booked for different types of modelling jobs. After nearly an hour chatting on the phone, with a distinct sales chat feel, you know, the “congratulations, you are in my chosen final 5” & “Would you be happy to be booked for an M&S ad campaign for 3k” type chat. Then comes the “we pay the studio shoot, you just pay £50 returnable deposit to ensure you turn up”. Not entirely unfair you will agree. But they then take you to straight to a paypal page and are very pushy to get you to part with your cash right then and there. However, I will never be pushed immediate payments. Always an alarm goes off. I hadn’t researched the company and wanted time to do so. I know the modelling industry and pushy is not the way. I looked at their instagram page with their sister company Soho studio. It’s full of amateur people off the street having a go at modelling. They are not professional models that companies would book for work. So, in a nut shell, what Online Model UK is doing is recruiting wannabe models with flattery and the promise of work, when in fact they are a sales team, selling photoshoots. You will get that deposit back, but they will charge you way over the odds for your portfolio pictures which it will then be up to you to get yourself an agent who can actually get you work. If you want to be a model, an agent will not make you pay for your portfolio. Avoid this company.
