If it was possible I would give them 0/5 stars because that’s what the website deserves. I have now realised that I have been scammed and that Sandcornwall is a dodgy website. I placed an order on 7th May. I emailed them on the 15th of May out of curiosity because I realised that there was no mention of a delivery timescale on their website or in my purchase confirmation email, so I wanted to find out when I would receive my order. They emailed me back the same day saying that they will be getting more in stock soon so “hopefully” I should receive it within the next 2-3 weeks. Turns out I had bought something that wasn’t even in stock and they knew this and failed to be transparent and say that I was PRE-ORDERING at least then, I would’ve know that what I ordered was nor currently in stock but I will still receive it in the next 2-3 weeks. I sent them a reply on 4th June saying that it was now 2-3 weeks late and I stil have not received my order. I also said that should have been honest about my order not being in stock rather than have me waiting around for something that was not even available - they didn’t respond. I called their store twice but they do not answer their phone so that was waste of time as well. So today I sent them a 3rd email asking where my order is as it’s now the 23rd of June but I now realise that I will never get my order ans emailing them again is pointless because they will not respond. I do not believe that I will receive my order. I have been scammed and their website is fake and dodgy and being run by fraudulent scammers. I am going to report them and contact my bank for a request of a money back. Don’t be fooled by the look of their website. My advise is AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, this website and DO NOT purchase anything from them. They will steal your money.
Awful experience
Awful experience. I placed an order on the 3rd of March 2022 for a nest of tables, my delivery date was the 2nd April. Numerous phone calls, emails with no response. I had to contact the neighbouring shop to pass on my email to ensure they received it. I did then get a call from Matt on the 13th May who apparently is the owner and assured me they would be arriving the following week, with me for delivery the week after. It’s now the 8th June and still no tables and no communication from the company. Again no response to my emails and they don’t answer the telephone. I’ve left two messages this week with no reply. Undelivered items and poor service
I ordered a nest of tables from this company last month, and I have not received my delivery despite the website providing assurance that items will be delivered within two weeks. I have also had no response to calls, voicemails and emails. If I do not receive my delivery or communication from this company soon, I will take further action with the consumer ombudsman.
Absolutely shocking avoid at all…
Absolutely shocking avoid at all costs!! Taken my money for my table 5 weeks ago heard nothing. Despite ringing the shop where the lady claims she has nothing to do with online orders and several emails later still no response!!! Fuming 😡 they have my money and I have no table taking it further!!!
5 Weeks Since Order Confirmation
I ordered an outdoor table for £124 five weeks ago. I've heard nothing since the order confirmation. I hate leaving bad reviews but I can't get a response by phone or email. The shop itself looks great, but the online ordering experience has been very disappointing.

Awful just Awful. Still waiting on a delivery which is taking forever. Terrible customer service no response to emails sent for live chat response. Wish I'd have seen these reviews before I ordered as it seems I'm not the only one waiting for a delivery. Reporting to ombudsman!!

I am yet to receive my order that I placed 16th Dec 2021, or receive any updates of shipping/delivery. I have emailed twice, messaged on Instagram and also called 3 times (no answer) I understand there are delays with shipping at the moment but I would just like an update on whether or not my order is still being processed or a rough idea on when I will be receiving as it’s been over 8 weeks now with no communication. I cant give any more stars at this point. Ordered a lamp and lamp shade as a birthday gift. At no point of ordering was it stated that there would be a delay. I have emailed this company asking when it will be shipped and received no reply. Poor customer service. Order 11622. edited: Matt calls me and tells me he doesn't know when I will receive my order, tried to rush the call. Got quite shirty when i told him to refund. However the refund was completed promptly. Its a real shame with this company. They sell some beautiful items, however their customer service and deliver lets them down. Edit: In answer to your comments below. You only started calling me when i posted a bad review. Before this my email was ignored. Delivery stated on the website is up to two weeks. On our last conversation Matt you still could not tell me when i might get a delivery. Your attitude was appalling and you really shouldnt be working in customer service. Please dont use the "Pandemic" as an excuse for poor customer service. I will keep the star rating i have given you and that is being generous.

Sand/Cornwall
My experience with Sand/Cornwall has been nothing but outstanding from start to finish. Every question answered either by email/text or telephone. Delays have been inevitable with these challenging times but Matt has been true to his word which must have proved difficult. My table arrived prompt from delivery company and with ease because of Covid. Chairs have just arrived and I couldn’t be happier - delivery company first class. Can’t wait to visit their shop in St Ives when visiting Cornwall in September. Vickie/Winchester
