I only regret not getting a tummy tuck sooner. The hospital and staff were exceptional, and the scar turned out better than I could have imagined. A friend who had surgery at Egepol recommended the hospital to me. After a WhatsApp consultation with Burak, I chose my surgeon, Dr. Ali Özdemir. Burak checked in a few times before my flight to see if I had any questions. Upon landing, the wonderful Helin called to confirm my private transfer was ready. At the hospital, Helin guided me through my pre-op checks and the paperwork, which was extensive. As it was late, I was given a cut-off time for eating and settled into the hospital, which was clean, well-presented, and felt more like a hotel, with two beds—one for me and one for my companion. The next morning at 9 am, Dr. Ali marked me up for surgery. I inquired about a breast lift, but instead of upselling me, he recommended against it, offering alternatives which I ultimately declined. After a quick change, I was taken to the surgical floor, which, like the rest of the hospital, was immaculately clean. Post-surgery, I was kept informed about the next steps, and within a few hours, I was up and walking. Helin and Çağatay frequently checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. Despite the nurses speaking little English, they were incredibly helpful, and the language barrier was never an issue, thanks to interpreters available via WhatsApp and, if necessary, Google Translate. Çağatay provided valuable advice for my return home. I was encouraged to walk, and within a day or two, I could visit local shops. Dr. Ali checked in daily, and before I left for the airport, I had a final appointment to review my healing and answer any questions. After discharge, I was transferred to an incredible 5-star hotel to continue my recovery. The team at Egepol went above and beyond at every stage. Even after leaving the hospital, I am still in contact with the team and they are very invested in your healing journey. A few tips: it is a hospital, so there is some noise and regular nurse check-ins. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs and sleep masks. Bring lots of flannels, once you have had your surgery you don’t get a shower until the dressings are off (almost 2 weeks). I would also recommend long baggy clothes for going out as you will have drains depending on your surgery. I personally didn’t want them hanging on show. The food is traditional Turkish cuisine, which I enjoyed, but picky eaters might want to speak to the team about ordering other options or bring a few home comforts with you. There are local restaurants and shops within walking distance, and interpreters are happy to accompany you. On the first night, I recommend stocking up on drinks and snacks. The fruit is amazing, cheap, and plentiful. I highly recommend this hospital and have already shared the details with several friends planning tummy tucks after seeing my results.

Die Qualität der Dienstleistungen in diesem Krankenhaus in Izmir war wirklich erstklassig. Die Behandlungsergebnisse waren besser als erwartet und ich kehrte gesund nach Deutschland zurück. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung empfehle ich dieses Krankenhaus allen meinen Bekannten und jedem, der eine Behandlung sucht, mit gutem Gewissen weiter.

Als Patient aus Deutschland hatte ich keinerlei Sprachprobleme; das Krankenhauspersonal war sehr hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation war sehr einfach. Die Ärzte informierten mich ausführlich über meinen Gesundheitszustand, was mir viel Beruhigung gab. Während meines gesamten Behandlungsverlaufs fühlte ich mich sicher. Das Krankenhaus ist sauber und modern, was meine Gesamterfahrung positiv beeinflusste. Besonders der Nachsorgeprozess nach der Operation wurde hervorragend gemanagt.

I had my mummy makeover surgery on 4th of April in Egepol Hospital. All I can say it was amazing experience from start to finish. I am very satisfied with the treatment and outcome I got. Atmosphere of the hospital is very calm and peacefull. I would like to take a moment to thank all the surgical team and nurses, especially Beyza and Cagatay (you 2 are my stars ) who treated me with a great care. It was a pleasure to meet everyone of you. I definatly will recommend to all my family and friends.

I had my surgery on the 6th May, I fly home Tomorrow and I couldn’t be happier. This is my second time returning to Egepol, I first came in September 2023 to have a gastric Sleeve, since this I have lost 9 stone and returned for a mummy makeover. My surgeon Dr Ali Özdemir, well what an amazing man, he has made me feel so comfortable and important, so much so I have just booked to have a thigh lift with him. The nurses are lovely, again make you feel very well looked after and comfortable. I booked my surgery through a man called Burak, amazing human couldn’t have done anymore for me or my partner who also came as my companion, always checking if we were alright, if we needed anything etc, from experiences I can tell you the care does not stop when you leave Egepol, we kept in contact since my first surgery. Çağatay, well again just an amazing man, caring, respectful, wonderful. Both are a credit to the Hospital, they are very lucky to have such lovely people working for them. I had my surgery on the 1st of May 2024, highly recommend Egepol Hospital. I was amazed with all the care the team gave me. Hospital, equipment and Nurses were all amazing, I went on my own and felt incredibly cared for. As for Burak & Cagatay they were simply the best! Great translators, answered all my questions and made me feel really at ease. Thank you to my surgeon also 😁 Overall an outstanding service!

Had my surgery for a MMO on 19/4/2024. Would definitely recommend Egepol Hospital to people who are considering surgery. Egepol Hospital is immaculately clean and very modern. Everything from getting picked up from the airport by a private transport to getting my surgery ran very smoothly. Really happy with the care I received from all of the hospital staff, Dr Ali my surgeon was so lovely and made me feel at ease straight away. Also, Buruk who arranged all my surgery was amazing, he answered every single question I asked prior and post surgery very promptly and professionally.
