The Real Milk Paint company is great to work with and their products provide a great finish to my projects. Being in Australia it could be difficult to get efficient service buy they always deliver the goods.

Hello. Yes your product is amazing. I live in San Miguel de Allende Mexico and Tung oil is not available here. I restored 5 300 year old Mesquite doors on a project and 100 years ago or so when varnish was available only all the doors here have been coated in it over and over leaving a black mess. I stripped the gently and against the instance of the client wanting to use linseed oil i waited for your product as every article says its the best for mesquite. The results were astounding. It brought out this purple and coloring that was amazing. I would send you photos but there is no link. The only problem is getting it herald the cost is hard to explain to someone who can get linseed oil as cheap as Coca Cola, but stays wet and attracts dirt. I wish I had more for my rock Veranda. I would give it a five star but that's like an amp that only goes to 8. We all need someplace to go a little louder. Cheers. Patrick

Not good - paint powder was chalky and near impossible to completely mix, even after varying water ratio and mixing techniques. Liquid did not adhere cleanly to smooth wall even after other-brand primer was applied. After drying for a couple days on test patch, paint came off entirely with a lightly damp paper towel. Tried to apply with brush, roller and rag - all the same outcome. I got sample sizes and I’m so glad I did, the colors are wonderful but literally everything else was bad. 1 gal of hardware store latex got me two coats in a small room, with enough left over for touch ups. I’ll just have to deal with the fumes if I ever repaint.

We used white milk paint to paint over my hideous kitchen cabinets. I have hated the cabinet doors since we moved in seven years ago, convinced it was the style that bothered me. However, the cabinets are high quality so I didn’t want to scrap them to potentially replace them with an inferior product. Enter Real Milk Paint. I knew I wanted something “lived in” and that we could live in. I didn’t want to baby anything or worry about damaging a refinishing job. While it took five coats (we had to figure out the process) and two coats of finishing glaze, I discovered it was NOT the style of the doors that bothered me but rather the finish. My dark, dreary kitchen is now a bright space with soft white cabinets and a black kickboard (also done in Real Milk Paint). The edges are a bit roughed up, as I had intended, so the previous color peeks through which makes it look homey and reminds me of an old farmhouse kitchen. After the second coat of glaze, they are satiny soft to the touch and water resistant. I haven’t had any issues with anything staining them either (spilled coffee, anyone?). I cannot say enough good things about these products!
