With no chain, a buyer with a sound mortgage offer & a very good survey, you’d think selling our property would be a breeze. But the combination of a not terribly good estate agent & the astonishingly incompetent service provided by the buyer’s solicitor made things very, very stressful. There was one glow of comfort though and that was the support provided by Regan Salter and Naj Sheikh who acted for us. They may be more hardened to poor quality solicitors than we are, but it wasn’t easy for them; the buyer’s solicitor failed to answer or return calls or reply to emails, failed to provide bank details to the buyer so she could make her deposit, failed to do the money laundering checks until late in the day & then went on holiday at the last minute without telling anyone or arranging cover. Quite extraordinary behaviour. To their everlasting credit, Regan and Naj plugged away, doing their best to get responses from the other side, keeping us informed and generally chivvying so we could get across the line. They really were the only voices of sanity in the whole horrible, protracted mess and we are extremely grateful for their support.

Zara Sharples handled a house sale swiftly and efficiently for me and my sister, and was unfailingly polite and generous with her time on the phone. Would have rated Swiitch 5 stars but for one small issue. We were looking for a quick sale and were not informed Zara would be taking almost two weeks’ annual leave not long after starting work. A colleague stepped in, but they had to be urged to push things forward as it was not their case. All worked out fine in the end, but there’s a chance you’ll find you are dealing with a team as much as you are with an individual.

Easy-to-use portal. Reasonable fees. My paralegal Leanne was very responsive by email and explained things clearly. On the day of contracts exchange, Leanne was also very informative and helpful over the phone. Great experience again with the Swiitch team.
