they lock you into contract by not…

they lock you into contract by not responding after system installed. They had difficulty then said they would come back to finish with a fix for the system, but never did. Sales person will not respond. Charge you but you cannot reach on the phone on hold over 1.5 hours trying to speak to someone at least 5 times. only reached a person once trying to call them. no one could help just transfer to another department. they take your money but will not give customer service. Can't cancel and they want you to pay out full contract. they give you 10 days to cancel but sales person says 30 then never respond to your calls so you go past the period. 70 dollars a month for cameras that don't work properly and they say monitoring and contract still valid cause door sensors work so they fulfilled contract. Do not do business with them. its is a scam and all calls were from the US except one from Montreal so it is not an Alberta Company.

I had a pleasant experience resolving my issue(s) with Technical Support provided by Russell S. He was detailed and very knowledgeable. I was able to get all my questions answered and system running. Russell receive 5-stars for his skills and efforts. I am a very happy customer. I had became shy about calling for support due to long wait time and always offering to send a technician for a fee.

Don't get this system

This security system has been the bane of my existence. First of all, when they installed the system they did not properly hook up the fire alarm to the panel, and when we had a dryer vent hose melt and cause caustic smoke the alarm went off, but no emergency services were ever alerted. (we got everything stopped ourselves, but that was luck.) The notification alarm goes off a lot because the medical is often offline (which was one of the main reasons my parents purchased it originally.) The medical batteries are contently alerting the battery is dead, and the console itself constantly loses contact with the tower which causes another alarm. The console low battery alarm screams constantly when the power is out or you have to shut off the power in the room it's plugged into to do renovations. I attempted to cancel the service, (the agent said there would be no problem as the account holder was dead) with decent notice, emailed the death certificate the day I had talked to the agent on the phone and they still took the next month's payment from the account. They then emailed my service would be cancelled at the end of this month, then said "this account has been sent to API Billing to terminate Billing Services" which implies if they attempt to take next month's payment out they can blame their billing billing service. Would not recommend.

They won’t allow you to cancel the service!

If you sign a contract with Fluent, it will be an ongoing contract. You have to call them to cancel the service, but when you do, someone picks up and hangs up the phone! They don’t want to deal with this problem. Horrible!

While initially I was impressed by the service, since then it's dropped off a cliff. My elderly mother was without security services for more than 2 weeks waiting for a technician to change the battery for the in-house system. That is beyond incompetent it borders onto NEGLIGENCE!!! Was delighted when we canceled the service. Oh the company was quick to take payment for the never seen technician, still waiting to be reimbursed.

We had fluent security system installed…

We had fluent security system installed about 4 years ago in a business we leased, the owner of the building would not do any repairs needed,so the lease was broken and this woman took over the fluent security system. Now 3 years since we have been untied from both the lease and fluent system we are getting bombarded with phone calls for supposed alarms going off, and fluent will not remove our numbers from their system. So we have to change our phone numbers to get rid of the calls. THANKS FOR NOTHING FLUENT
