Lovely stay!!
We recently stayed with other family members in two Double rooms at Number 75 Glade end it is situated just over the road from Glade End Guest House. Check in was really easy we were sent a code for the entrance in advance and this was all fine. Our rooms were fabulous very luxurious and tastefully decorated throughout. The staff were very welcoming and helpful & breakfast was superb. We would highly recommend Glade End and will visit again in the future.
A fab find!
We visited the Glade End recently and it was superb! Easy self check-in, spotlessly clean room with crisp bed linen. Plenty of hot water for 2 baths! Wonderfully generous cooked breakfast. We have already booked for our visit next year!
Excellent
The Glade End Guest House was excellent. Rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Bathroom was huge and very nicely decorated and arranged. Plenty of towels, toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was very well presented and delicious with a wide range to choose from. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our overnight stay. We will certainly be coming back and recommending Glade End Guest House to other people.
Daughter's treat!
We booked two rooms at Glebe End this week as our daughter was treating us to a meal at The Hand and Flowers in the evening. The emails we received prior to our visit were very professional and we liked the idea of the check in system. Luckily, on arrival one of the staff was there to greet us and show our daughter where to park her car. Within minutes we were in our respective rooms which were lovely and clean with nice touches of coffee, tea and biscuits together with bottled water and lovely fluffy white towels. Within a short time we were walking into town which is only a few minutes away enjoying all that Marlow town had to offer. We all had a good nights sleep and thoroughly enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast the next morning. We were able to leave the car in the car park the following day even though we had checked out which was a nice gesture - this enabled us to explore the river and visit more vintage shops. A lovely place to stay, would love to return at some point in the future.
Perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glade End on the evening of Friday 24 July 2015 (we were dining at the Hand & Flowers). The two rooms were spacious and clean and the little birthday gift of chocolates for our daughter was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The self service check in arrangement worked well and it was useful to be able to come and go so easily at No 75. The breakfast was lovely and it was nice to have such a personal service with advice on where to go in the morning. I would definitely recommend Glade End to anyone and very much hope we will be able to return again one day as we enjoyed Marlow and your location, with parking facilities, makes for a perfect base. I would give you 5 stars for every assessment heading!
Lovely find in marlow
A lovely B and B in Marlow which is easy access from the Motorway(s) and in an excellent location for Marlow town centre with all attractions within walking distance. Before my stay I received detailed information I required for the check-in process and access. The room (Double King Size) was very clean and had everything required, the room was large and more than enough space for storage. Breakfast was very good. I only opted for continental but there was plentiful options for cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast had a lovely array of fruits, cereals, and yoghurts. The staff were excellent who couldn't do enough. I was given the option to leave my car at the car-park all day after I checked-out at 10.30am as I was staying in the area till late. I also left an earring in my room and was contacted by the hotel an hour after I had checked out to say it had been found. Lovely hotel and I would recommend for a short break
SNEEZED ALL NIGHT
Found room to be be dirty with heavy dust on the top of the doors and particularly on the skirting boards by the full length mirror. Showed staff in the morning and voiced politely my dissatisfaction. Plus the photos of the complaint. Star rating above does not allow for a real reflection on the star rating. Staff were polite, however, offered no redress to my dissatisfaction and photographs of the dirty and dusty environment expected to sleep in, which played hell with my dust allergy. parking and location were the main draw to this guest house. Will not stay there again, at 125.00 a night housekeeping should have been spotless.
Lovely B&B
Glade end is in a great location, very quiet and a short walk from Marlow town centre. We were in the luxury king room which is lovely but a little smaller than we expected for the price of £140 for one night for my husband and I. We were also disappointed that the large bathroom didn't have a bath, again for that price we would have expected a fully kitted out bathroom! The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, and overall we had a fabulous time and would definitely come back!
Recent Stay
I've stayed in the Glade End Guesthouse several times over the years and if your looking for a spotlessly clean, comfortable room in a fantastic location with a great home cooked breakfast, look no further!
Lovely place to stay in Marlow
Myself and my husband stayed here for 4 nights for our 'mini-moon' following our wedding. On arrival in our room there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us and a note congratulating us on our wedding, which was lovely! The guesthouse itself was very nice, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (though with service finishing at 9, possibly a touch early for us after a couple of late nights! But we managed!) and all the staff were very friendly. Great location - walking distance from Marlow town centre and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Also a great base for visiting other towns, such as Windsor and Henley. All in all we had a brilliant stay here!
